What team are you using? Lots of characters that are helpful against timers. I used Modern Storm when I started playing some weeks ago, her green skill erases a lot of tiles and sets up extra attacks.
1-stars: Hawkeye, m.Storm, Juggs, m.Widow
2-stars: Cap, o.Widow, Moonstone, Bag-Man, Mags
3-stars: Spidey, Rags
Roughly ordered from best to worst, off the top of my head.
Venom on the end of 1* (1 turn stun). Yelena too.
I’d put Orig Widow ahead of Cap since her blue is far more accessible and affects EVERY countdown. I suppose Moonstone should be on 2*, but at the end.
Add Mags and BWGS to 3* before Rags (who can only manage them well if they’re in the middle).
It’s a pretty simple formula. You need a tile breaker, a stunner and a damage dealer.
Save the stun for when countdown tiles get to one. Break tiles when the board is cluttered. Deal damage when an enemy with a low countdown tile is close to death.
Modern Storm, Bl. Widow and Iron Man/Juggs should get you very far in this game until you can get Thor/Cl. Storm.
Don’t be afraid to use/BUY boosts (+AP and +20% damage to enemies) when needed.
Classic Magneto also works very well – after 2 blue matches, he can dominate the board.
