Hello again all. A few weeks ago I posted about which 2* to make my third. And had a wonderful response. Hopefully, in spite of the recent nerfs people will be good natured enough to help me again

Based on advice I then added:
Cstorm 5/5/3
Ares 4/4/5
Finally got all purple covers for magneto yesterday. Great timing huh? He’s 4/5/4. Always planned to make him 3/5/5. Is that still going to be optimum?
Also, who should I focus on next. I have hawkeye, wolverine, torch and daken all optimally covered. Levels 45/55/59/60 respectively. I’m looking for a solid a and b team. Have a good handle on the game but my scaling is starting to get rough and I need help. Any tips on coping with scaling?
I’m thinking cstorm/wolverine/mn mags could make a good b team with the change. Or possibly torch?
3/5/5 for mags should still be best. the blue is nothing imo and with the change red should power up easier and hits pretty hard.
last guy s/b daken first. really good cheap burst and true healing is strong. wolvie is ok with him as a pairing but not priority, just as a luxury as he is powered up often in pve.
Honestly, nobody really know how useful MNMags is going to be post-nerf (less useful certainly of course). The knock-on effect is that no one really knows how powerful CStorm, Hawkeye, and even 2* red users like Cap and Torch will be.
However, unless the powers are changed again, the proper build for Mags will not change. Purple is still the most important skill, blue is still terrible.
As for who to max next, Daken seems the clear choice. He’s got great synergy with OBW, great longevity for PvE, and is part of what will almost certainly be the most reliable DDQ survival node team post-MNMags nerf (OBW/Daken/Thor).
Magneto 4/5/4 is ok build. For B team (after change) Daken Wolverine Magneto - in this order Mags tanks only blue, his purple will fuel Daken’s blue and red for strong but costly Wolvie skill and there is nice synergy between his green and Daken’s blue.
Of course Storm + Hawkeye would be still great partners for Magneto.
I won’t know for sure what build will be my new favorite Magneto, but with 3 blue tiles to place at Lvl 4 and 5
, you’ll still find plenty of 5-matches to trigger Hawkeye’s
. I have no doubt about that. The only question in my mind will the be how fast
feeds
. Magneto could come out of this a stronger character since Lvl 5
is a truly awesome power that is too rarely used.
So my advice is to try out the new Magneto; if you like Lvl 5
, then respec to Lvl 5
and max Hawkguy.
