So something that at one point seemed so far away has happened–I have maxed out my first 3* Champion. What to do from here? Do I keep it and just get the ISO from selling off the covers? Or is there a “3* farm” where I should sell it and start over?
This was my first one but I have 2 or 3 more that will occur soon.

The sale price of a maxed champ 3* is not worth it plus you want that max champed character for when it is featured. The plan outlined by many folks is just bite the bullet and start a second copy of the character to get all the champion rewards again.
I just started working on that with IM40. I stopped at 265 and started my dupe in case I get an extra cover for the dupe before fully covering it.
Is it worth the ISO investment to champ a second? That’s a 183,500 ISO sink.

I haven’t done the math on what all you get in rewards for max-champing a 3-star, so I’m genuinely asking if it’s worth it.
The answer to that depends on where you are in the game.
If you have (almost) all the 4s champed, and your core stable of 5s champed, then absolutely, starting dupe 3s is worth it for the extra LTs and CP.
Chances are that you can make enough ISO to champ a 3 from scratch in 3-4 days.
If you’re still working on leveling your 4s, the ISO is better spent there.
Come back to 3 farming later.
Just be aware that it’s a lot of ISO upfront to start the 3* farm.
At least 10 dupes will hit 13 covers in a relative short amount of time, and you’ll be doing nothing but leveling 3* dupes for about a month, which is really, really boring.
How much Iso, HP and maybe other stuff do you get if you sell a maxed 3*?

So selling a maxed 3* will mean to loose 21k iso.
A maxed champed 3* brought already:
3x 4* covers

5 LT

50 CP
I think loosing 21k should be worth getting it.
Only real drawback would be the time it needs to champ it again.
But for few 3* like Ragnarok it could be totally worth it, to sell him and champ him again.
