(PASSIVE) Time means nothing to Kang the Conqueror. When Kang makes a Match-4 or greater, increases the duration of all enemy Countdown tiles by 1. When Kang fires a power, reduces the duration of all friendly Countdown tiles by 1.

(At level 255)

  • Level 2: When Kang fires a power, reduces the duration of Stun on all allies by 1.
  • Level 3: When Kang makes a match-4 or greater, increases the duration of Stun and reduces the duration of Invisibility on enemies by 1.
  • Level 4: When Kang fires a power, reduces the duration of all friendly Countdown tiles by 2.
  • Level 5: When Kang makes a Match-4 or greater, increases the duration of all enemy Countdown tiles by 2.

Kang brings forward the future. Creates 5 Green Countdown tiles that range from 1 to 5 turns and fire a random friendly power when they expire. Stuns allies for 2 rounds when a power is fired this way.

(PASSIVE) Kang has control over the past, the present and the future, even if it is not his. When an enemy fires an attack against Kang, Kang slips into the timestream for 2 rounds, avoiding the attack. When Kang returns, he deals 1500 damage to the enemy team and reduces the enemy AP in a random color by 20%.

(At level 255)

  • Level 2: (PASSIVE) …deals 2000 damage and reduces enemy AP in a random color by 30%
  • Level 3: Stuns allies for 1 round. (PASSIVE) …deals 2500 damage and reduces enemy AP in a random color by 40%
  • Level 4: (PASSIVE) …deals 3000 damage and reduces enemy AP in a random color by 50%
  • Level 5: (PASSIVE) …deals 3500 damage and reduces enemy AP in a random color by 100%

Kang has access to some of the most advanced weaponry this side of time. Fires up to three shots dealing 1500 damage, plus an additional 500 damage for each Countdown tile on the board.

(PASSIVE) Time is but a flat circle. When a friendly power is fired, creates a Blue Countdown tile that ranges between 1 to 5 turns and fires the same friendly power at no cost when it expires.

(At level 255)

  • Level 2: Deals 2000 damage. Stuns enemies for 1 round if there are more than 7 Countdown tiles on the board.
  • Level 3: (PASSIVE) Creates a Blue Countdown tile that ranges between 1 to 4 turns and fires the same friendly power at no cost when it expires.
  • Level 4: Deals 2500 damage. Stuns enemies for 2 rounds if there are more than 6 Countdown tiles on the board
  • Level 5: (PASSIVE) Creates a Blue Countdown tile that ranges between 1 to 3 turns and fires the same friendly power at no cost when it expires.

Developer’s Notes:

  • Damocles Laser includes both friendly and enemy Countdown tiles.

I like this power set. As is, I can see him being insanely overpowered, but the concept is very good. I see very nice usage of countdown tiles which is still an underused component of the game. Purple is my favorite with it’s subtle, yet impactful influence on friendly and enemy countdown tiles.
