Our story in a nut shell
We are casual competitive alliance whose members strive to get better roster every single day (especially 3*). Our main aim is simple, to be in top 50 for PvP and top 100 for PvE.
A little about myself, i’ve been playing MPQ since October 2013 and i’m still going strong everyday and not slowing down anytime soon. I’ve been through all the nerfs since im35, c.storm, rag, critical tiles, whatever, and i still love the game.
If you are interested in joining us, pm me with whatever detail that you think you need to tell me (your best roster, season points, PvE points whatever).
There are several requirements:
Play Daily and Active (you want to have better roster everyday for the rest of your MPQ days
)
You are at least in 3*s transition with at least 3 lvl 100 chars.
Willing to score minimum 500-600 pts/pvp (or more when the need arises in order to stay in top 50 PvP and top 100 PvE).
Participate in the chat from time to time (not requiring you to be chatting all the time, but just enough to let us know that you are still playing)

Did you spend some HP for the cover? mine currently capped at lvl 66. Going to level him later though.
I’d recommend going 5/3/5 or 4/4/5 for him. I don’t know why many people dislike his yellow. But i think his yellow is great. I often get 5-6 strike tiles when i saved up enough env tiles. You can try to pair him up with M.Storm and Hulk (for tanking m.storm) for some fun. The drawback is that you won’t have any use for purple.

I see you’ve been leveling your c.magneto. I rarely use c.magneto coz i’m not really interested in him (and i prefer GSBW’s Sniper rifle over Magneto’s purple skill), but i might start to use him more often since i already got his blue skill.
Pucco, yes. Pumped up BP Black with HP. Still have some in reserve and with current ranking in BP PVP tourney that should net some hood covers, my current plan is to give Patch and Hood a lil kick start and rank them hotly followed by Hulk and Punisher? do ya think thats worth while?
I’m more interested in C.Mag’s blue combo. So far quite ok, but he tends to run out of blue after a while. Think I’m going for Loki next. His skill is excellent with Patch!
Hood is one of my favorite, but he starts to really shine only when you have 5 blue and 5 yellow. You can hide him behind BP but you will have harder time completing your rainbow.
Punisher, he’s fantastic. i should have used him earlier, i just started to use him on this hulk event. If you want to pair him with BP, go 3/5/5 with punisher.
My combo is judgement → (battle plan) → rage of panther → retribution.
Hulk, i’m really having a hard time justifying myself to level him further, his red is expensive, his green not doing enough damage. I think he’s most effective used as a mean to scare people off. he’s effective only at high level.
Patch with Loki, i used that combi before in the simulator. It’s deadly! but it’s most effective with 5/5/3 build. However, it’s still deadly enough with 3 green skill build.
kidicarus is joining us soon, i open up 1 more spot for him. (next spot costs 700 hp… geez…)
IceIX said the messaging system is coming relatively soon. so that’s a good thing.
I usually join a bracket around 3pm (gmt +7) since there will be less american players to compete with. I work on Monday so it’s impossible for me to play on the last hours before tourney ends
(in the case of fearless defender, the tourney ending time is friendlier for US players)
So, i will make the last push on monday morning before i’m going to work and shield up.
Lets aim for top 100 first. Hopefully we can get blue BP for everyone.
I told pucco I would be aiming for about 800pts in fearless defenders, however I’m on a business trip this weekend so I’m hoping that the hotel internet is decent so that I can contribute to the alliance’s success- It looks like alliance rewards are based on the size of the alliance, so the larger the alliance the more cumulative points the alliance will be likely to get. Well we need to place top 100 to get a blue cover so lets just do our best! We’ll be able to see how we do as an alliance at the end of this competition.
My MMR is climbing this week due to lack of time to tank in last week’s lightning rounds but I should still be able to do it by fielding my 141 Pun, 120+ Iron Man and 85 OBW
edit: I wonder is there’s a way of getting new joiners to pay a HP fee for joining?
I don’t mind paying HP to join a GMT+7/8 alliance, though not sure if my roster is competitive. Usually my points range anywhere from 200-600 depending on how competitive the PVP sub bracket is.
You have to be a commander in order to upgrade alliance, which i think it’s a pretty strange. Everybody should be able to upgrade the alliance as they wish and i suspect D3 are looking into this issue.
If you check on the top 10 alliances, some of them already have 17 members.(roughly cost about 13800 hp)
I think it’s quite silly to spend so much HP this early, given D3’s practice of changing the system. Right now they are testing how everybody reacts to the new reward structure.
@kensterr: i will upgrade alliance roughly once per week depending on our performance. Your roster is good enough, as long as you play regularly, you can be high end player. So i’m gonna put you in the short list. I’m really sorry but i don’t think i’ll upgrade more for this current fearless defender. I will let you know once we have an open spot.

I think the most important thing is that everybody join a bracket within the first day and aim to get about 500 pts. That will put us through to top 100, since this is the first event, we’ll see how it goes.
no worries @Pucco. I do think that the cost of upgrading/expanding slots or members for alliances is too much right now. Hopefully there’ll be a change in cost or in the system to allow a 50/50 split of costs or whatever
I’ll be getting 500-800 points in this event, currently trying to tank. Think its working, only seeing maxed 2** teams. I’m not particularly interested in BP just yet. Just got maxed cover for Hood 4/5/4 so will start leveling him up once my C Mag hits level 140. Hopefully can get a yellow for him in LR.
Hey Guys, it seems i was wrong after all. We need 3000 pts just to be in top 100. We need more power. So i opened up a slot for Kensterr. Hopefully he will join us.
At the moment i can’t look at each of your pvp points, so i’m not sure about jazz5 since he hasn’t posted yet. (if you are reading this, please post here)
