Can you dedicate some more server horse power.

Every interaction with AvA goes to the server which causes spinning wait circles. Can take 30 seconds to a minute to do something like enter a node.

I’m also getting conflicting info on the screen. It said we were opted in, but were waiting to assign defense for several days. The countdown said we should have been able to assign defense at 8 AM today, but when I tried at 8:30 it changed & said the battle started at noon today.

I am finally able to see nodes and add characters to it, but it constantly errors out, so it takes about 5 minutes to add one character. Every interaction with AvA so far has been so slow that I keep assuming the app crashed.

AvA seems to be straining the servers big time.

Disable the whole thing and start again next month. Give us the rewards.

Presumably there is a rush to play at start but given the long times you get to defend and attack it will calm down and not strain the servers so much. But yeah, painful to place defence at the moment.

Good thing they’re giving us like 12 hours, it’s probably going to take that long to drop all my defenders in!

I don’t understand this at all, every time I click on a node to set defenses it gives me a seemingly random assortment of characters but also all of them are locked. Or is it only commanders can set defenses and that’s why I’m locked?

If you are seeing locks, you are probably a commander:

As a commander, I can remove defenses placed by other non-commanders.

All three in the top row were set by a non-commander teammate.
The middle two were set by me.

The goals right now:

  1. IP2 tries to make the servers faster.
  2. We, with help from our teammates, try to fill the 3x3 grid with characters we would not want to fight against. We are creating a three wave (each row) defense for our opponents right now. In roughly 7 hours, each team will attack each others defenses.

Apparently, you can’t set different versions of the same character in the same 3 x 3 grid. Each 3 x 3 grid is a three wave three person node and regular rules of not having the same character twice, even if it’s a different version, in the same battle still apply.

So in @Krazy ‘s example, you could not put one star storm behind Wolverine because two star storm is already in that wave/grid.

Mine looks like this

Correct. If you have say a 4* Juggs and a 2a4 Jugg, only one can go in any Front.

Defence has been completed for that Front, so unless a commander removes or a player removes what they placed you can’t add any more characters.

It just means somebody else has already set Defence. If you think you have better then best to say so and someone (Commander or other player can free up a spot)

And just to confirm the servers were not like this on the Beta but then I guess they didn’t have to deal with thousands of players trying to do stuff in this thing. Wish the Devs had launched this so they weren’t missing two days of open.

Hope this lag doesn’t carry on for the attack phase :crossed_fingers:

Your teammates have already filled that one in.

If you click on any of the nine characters, you can see who did it.

An exclamation point indicates there is defense that still needs to be placed.

In your screen shot (for that Hexagon), looks like you can sit back and wait until the attack phase starts in about 6 hours.

Since it’s now Saturday in Australia, I don’t have any hopes any of this lag will be fixed before Monday their time. I hope to be proven wrong.

While I don’t speak for IP2.

I will say they are well aware, and actively looking into it, on their Saturday. (It is 10am)

That is by no means a promise nor a rebuttal to your “Monday” statement.
No official ETA has been given. These performance issues are very hard to predict.
