Ascended Ghost Rider 2099 not usable for 4* essential missions

I ascended Ghost Rider 2099 to 5*, and I’m unable to use him in the 4* essential node in the current Thick as Thieves PvE.

This has still not been fixed. Ascended 5* Ghost Rider is not usable in today’s DDQ mission.

You took 4* Ghost Rider 2099 and ascended him to 5*

In Deadpool’s Daily Quests (DPD/DDQ) you can only use 5* on:
“Dat Required Character” and “The Big Enchilada” (and technically Behemoth Burrito)

Sort of like how you can only use 1* characters on :“That Guy from that Place”

I don’t think there is anything to be fixed.
Unless you can give us some more details to work with.
For example: What is the node name? Do you have a screen shot, or any other details?

Thanks for responding! Hopefully you guys can get this fixed soon, it’s been a problem for at least 9 months now.

Yes, when Ghost Rider 2099 was required in Behemoth Burrito I was unable to use the 5* ascended version. Every single other character allows ascended versions to be used in this fight, including all of the other characters required for that particular fight. I would not complain about not being able to use a 5* in the 1* node… because that wouldn’t make any sense.

5* Ghost Rider 2099 is also not usable in PvE events when he is an essential. I believe the ascended version is being treated as a different character.

This bug is STILL present. Ghost Rider 2099 is required for this week’s DDQ clash, and the 5* version is not usable.

I did some digging into this issue, and found the problem.

It turns out the Ascended Ghost Rider 2099 (5* Epic) is missing the category:
“Ghost Rider 2099 Zero Cochrane”

That is why you are not able to use him.

For fun I looked for other inconsistencies, and found a loosely related past bugs:
“Some characters will have temporary alternate Zombie covers. If a character is ascended, the alternate cover does not show up.”
It was caused by the ascended character missing a property of “MarvelZombies”

Similarly I recall some character not working in the PVE Class of 2024 event that were ascended. Ghost Ascended wouldn’t give you the Women’s history token. Red Guardian ascended wouldn’t count as a Thnderbolt in the daily quest. They are all related.

Once 339 is released, I won’t be able to figure out the source of the bugs.
