This morning after playing the first node in the Time Spiral event I was kicked out of the game, when I attempted to log back in (I have the app authorized through Facebook) and that’s how I authenticate my account during login, it fails.
I have tried to re-authenticate, and double checked to make sure there MTGPQ still has the proper permissions in my FB settings. It does, but the login continues to fail.
I confirm. After the Temporal Collapse event, I couldn’t even log into the game. It kept saying “unable to connect,” and I can’t even log in through Google Play!
Same here, after play the “Temporal collapse” event. I have a permanent collapse authentication failure. I like it because is synergic with the name of the event, so at least we have one minimum synergy in the game (not with cards or mechanics unfortunately).
So far have only been playing the first node of it, on an alt account. New set packs so I guess I’ll see if this affects in this case as well when I switch to any of the other ones.
But yeah, in case it is an issue with the second and third nodes, this seems to be an EvReFRe (Event Repeatable For Reward), and unlimited charges on nodes on top of that

I’ll add some additional information:
I investigated and discovered that my main account had “dropped out” and couldn’t connect to the game. My secondary account, however, was connecting fine.
Then I read the comments on Discord and the forum and realized the cause was the Temporal Collapse event, the second node (Jaya Ballard was there).
So, there must have been some kind of conflict, and as a result, we lost access to the game. I asked my friend; he can log in fine, and I warned him not to play Temporal Collapse!
Update: the event has been ended for now, so more people don’t end up with the same issue.
Our CS team is taking care of the players who have reported facing this issue, while our developers are working on fixing it. We’ll let you know when we have news about offering a new edition.
The issue isn’t the event it’s the inability to log back in using Facebook to authenticate.
I can’t even login to to get my ID# to put in a CS claim.
I am having authentication issues as well every time I login, and also when I enter or exit battles. It also took my fee to play the planar chaos event and then booted me out and said I completed it after one round.
Edit: Now I can’t login at all.
Agree, I have sat down on my lunch break at work to play Planer Chaos, but can’t log in. Very frustrating
I’m experiencing the same login issue. I played this morning. This has happened before, so wondering if they broke something that was fixed previously.

my game has been like that since thursday, i put in a tech support request, but they dont answer…game is staying on login screen, i cleared cache, uninstalled…etc…still not working…when i re-install, i do have access to the game but if i try to login with facebook, i get stuck in a loop again…
strange, i logged in as a guest, then it retrieved my account…
so its working again…
