Shouldn’t Axis trigger the Paladin? I’ve met the conditions with the 8 orbs of black or white. Am I missing something or is it a bug?

Wording may be ambiguous. I believe it checks to see if there are 8 black gems or 8 white gems. You can’t count both in mixture toward the 8 count?
I’m sure I counted 9 black gems and kept watching after that but no buff…I’m just wondering if someone tried this combo and had the same result. its no big deal . I was just trying different combinations of cards. The Paladin is too slow to buff anyways.
I had issues with that too. It wouldn’t get buffed with AoM, but it would when I got hit by opposing creatures. Faith of the Devoted DOES buff the Paladin, so it’s not just combat damage that triggers it. I found AoM works better to trigger Sorin’s ult or other lifegain effects than messing around with the Paladin anyways.
