Broken Marching Agents Vault

I got enough tokens to fully open the Marching Agents Vault, 20 tokens.

However, my Vault bugged out on me, and I couldn’t use them all.

I used them one at a time, and, the claim flow technically was REALLY unstable → it hung on screens that looked incomplete, was laggy, etc.
At some point, one of the Lin Lie’s got checked off, even though I never got that reward.

Suddenly when I had 2/20 (2 rolls left), the “Use token” button was unresponsive and it wouldn’t let me use a token anymore.
I back out and re-entered the menu, and suddenly it showed this vault as all claimed, and I couldn’t use the last 2 tokens anymore. The button was gone.
Both 4-Star Lin Lei Iron Fists were checked off, yet I didn’t get either of them. I do not have them in my vine. Everything else claimed correctly tho.

Never seen this happen before with a Vault, where the state of the vault did not match what I actually rolled, checked off rewards I didn’t earn, and then closed out even though I still had rolls left.

At least I got the big rewards, like the Legendary token, roster slot, and the big HC & R-ISO rewards.

Anyone else see weirdness like this?

Don’t you get a random cover??

This has been an issue since Day 1 of the Vault. No one. ever got the Lin Lie covers. They’ve been bugged the entire month. No acknowledgement or response from IP2 on all the reports, but this became the normal quicker than it was for BCS even. It’s a ghost town.

Yeah, I had something similar happen.

I was using the tokens as soon as I earned them. I kept seeing that the two Lin Lie covers were still available until somewhere around my 15th pull (give or take). After I got whatever reward for that pull, the two covers were suddenly checked off - and I definitely did not get them.

I figured it could be connected to that early glitch with the vault (the one showing the wrong reward when you tapped on it), and that maybe the two covers had been removed to ‘correct’ the issue. I didn’t think anything more about it until you mentioned it.

I see that my game is saying that I collected 19/20 rewards, but I have 3 unclaimed tokens. Now I’m thinking that I have actually only collected 17/20, and that whatever error is going on with these two covers is giving me a false total of 19.

Count me in on the class action suit…

When I first claimed a Lin Lie cover early on, clicking on the Lin Lie cover showed a little image over the cover saying 100 Iso, or some amount like that. I didn’t get the Lin Lie cover when I claimed it. It looked like the label said it would be giving you Iso instead. Later on in the run of the vault, that little Iso label went away, so I thought they would be safe to claim at that point. I think I got a Lin Lie cover when I claimed the second one after that, but I don’t remember if I checked.

My vault is down to 19/20 items “claimed” with the last one being an IF LL cover. I have one token and I also didn’t get a token from one of the subs when the points got borked so technically I have 2 tokens, one I am owed (CS has been contacted).

When I try to use my current token to pull the IF, the button just turns dark and nothing else happens. If I do that, I cannot pull any other pull in any other vault or store using tokens or HP or anything, until I restart the game.

So I cannot pull the IF / use my existing token.

Hilarious.

If anyone is missing the Lin Lie cover, please reach out to our support team and they will get that sorted for you!

@Jeto Poor customer support. This is literally every player that finished Tower. Would it not be easier just to send everyone the missing covers? If it gives some new players a cover they didn’t reach yet, so be it. You could use the good will.

and @TheMigz I don’t k ow if you’re back yet, but another season is winding down and we STILL don’t have our Agents of Atlas correct vault. Could you look into the promise you made on several occasions? Following through is an important part of our confidence in your studio’s ability for maintaining the game. It’s hard to trust getting a roadmap done when you can’t launch a vault again in 3 months.

At the time of me writing this, we only had limited reports and were still testing. So, I mentioned just reaching out to the team, who will get you those covers

The team have continued to investigate and are looking at how far spread this issue is. If they find that it is beyond what is realistic for the support team to manually compensate, then yeah for sure, we would send them out to everyone affected

I think there’s an important difference between “how widespread a problem is” and what the support team “can realistically manage.”

If it’s widespread (in this case, it is), you should just compensate everyone. Period. It creates a lot of goodwill (and you need it), and will reach a lot more people than via support. Please don’t punish people for not reaching out.

It’s entirely possibly that support can manage it, just because of the simple fact that many players either weren’t aware of this option or don’t want to put in that effort. It’s not great form to put the onus on us when it’s something you did and affects a majority of players.

I hope the intent of your message and what you actually wrote are not the same.

Yeah the tone and intention probably wasn’t clear - if there is a wide spread issue, we will always send comp out to everyone!

If there is an issue that is only affecting a small group of people, and we can confirm that, then we will individually compensate.

Was just at the time of my original message, we had not yet confirmed if it was widespread

How does one reach out to the support team again? It’s been a good while since I’ve had to do that (several years). Basically need to ask for the 2 Lin Lie cover I should have gotten from the Vault.

Totally random question - Did we lose the ability to insert MPQ related icons into posts that the old forum had? Was gonna insert an Iron Fist icon to celebrate, but can’t find it.

@TheMigz Since you are back from leave (seeing your post in announcements), can you chime in when we can expect the multiple times promised correct Agents of Atlas Season vault? Our tokens have been waiting for many months now.

Last you said we would get this vault and it would be tied to the Tower, but we got this unrelated Marching Agents vault instead and the next tower doesn’t even have a Vault.

Do you have any time frame for making good on the promise?

I doubt they even remember promising this, but this is why they should absolutely never make promises like that. We used to complain about the old devs being vague about this stuff, or just not commenting on it at all, but they did it for a reason. Don’t promise something unless you know you will deliver it.

Which icon are you referring to? I’d have to look into our archives to dig it up most likely since it didn’t migrate over.
