That’s the downside to changing the naming convention from Falcon (Sam Wilson) to Sam Wilson (Falcon). And Captain America (Steve Rogers) becoming Steve Rogers (Super Soldier).

Until they have a Sam Wilson icon, and Steve Rogers, come to that, I’ll still be using the icon that represents the superhero, not the civilian identity.

Though if a mod or dev comes along and changes the icons, who am I to stop them.

4* pattern has been broken, 1300 point cover should be Antman

4* release tournaments are exempt, they use the second newest 4* as the 1300 point progression - in this case Deadpool. Sam will be the 1300 point progression in the next 4* release tournament. Ant-man will be the 1300 point progression in Hollowpoint kiss this weekend with Carnage as the 1000 point progression reward.

Here the Holy Spread Sheet (not to be confused with the Shroud of Turin, which doesn’t allow filtering on columns) suggests Blade / Loki / Doctor Octopus and Daken / Rocket & Groot / Falcon.

The inclusion of one of those suggests a need for an extra column…

:edit: To clarify, it’s suggesting [Blade or Loki or Doctor Octopus], and [Daken or Rocket & Groot or Falcon]. I need a new “it’s really this guy” column to somehow prevent suggesting both Wolverines (X-Force and Patch) or both Deadpools, or both Sam Wilsons. (But it wouldn’t suggest both Wolverines, as they share an active colour.) Or I can take the simplest option and just ignore duplicates.

Blade and Daken are doing okay for me right now.

wondering the same thing - patch/daken can climb but they aren’t fast and neither is grocket and storm is meh (only level 120). I may just switch over to 166s at some point.

The Holy Spread Sheet is something I use to minimise the number of overlapping active powers in my team. The theory is that on defence the AI can’t make a wrong power choice if there are no choices. And on offence you’re less likely to experience a totally dry board.

It doesn’t take into account anything else, though I am toying with how to include synergies, e.g. Scarlet Witch’s blue makes purple so is good if your team includes a character that uses purple, but is a complete waste if it doesn’t.

Anyway, if anyone cares, there’s a version on Google docs. Any suggestions for improvements are welcome. All I ask is that you don’t change what’s there, if through incompetence I’ve set permissions incorrectly.

If you’re not familiar with spread sheets, click on the dropdown arrow in the header, and you’re presented with a list of options, Active, Passive, N/A. Turn off Active for the active colours of the primary character, e.g. Yellow, Red for Sam Cap, see who’s left and play around.

problem is, forced to use a loaner, I’d rather get the best pair regardless because if I can get a good pair covering at least 5 colors (i.e. fist/Cyclops) I’d rather use them than the loaner’s abilities. looking forward to using this for real characters though. looks interesting to use. love this kind of stuff.

You also have to keep in mind Falcaps passive. Even at 1 cover when you match blue you will buff a special tile, so IF can be very useful. Daken and Xforce can be even better. Match green for strike tiles blue to buff, and then finish them with Daken blue.
Another buffed combo would be Storm, Groot. It cost 9 AP for black but and 10 AP for Groot but you need he blue tiles. Not as effective of Falcaps abilities though

The loaner buffs a single special tile by 30. Not 300, not 100, but 30… it’ll “help”, but it’s not going to be that big a deal..

wow. someone lost a ton of points quickly today. lined up a fistbuster for my first hop - was ~45 in my queue. returned 8 points. dang that had to hurt. hb was only 166 so I knew it might come in under the posted value but dang. still got 60 out of my hop, but lost one between there. nothing but fistbusters and 300+ xforces worth any pts out there right now in 1.

I was considering going for the DP. Shielded at 953, won 1 match, climbed over 1k, fought another match, and despite being pretty quick, came out to an attack, so I won’t be going for 1300. I’m in 1 too, and will probably get beat down pretty good. If I can finish t25 with just some pushing and a 3 or an 8, I’d consider it, so that I can have a GSBW dupe started better off. If t25 doesn’t look possible, probably won’t bother. Probably won’t bother b/c I assume a lot of people are going for 1300, so 1k and change won’t break t25.

I didnt see many high level Falcon(CapA) in this event. Last time in DPX event Pool Party i met some maxed or high level.
It makes me easier to climb up to top rankings and also to get the 1300 reward.

funny - I’m running fistclops. gave up on patch/daken about 650 on - not enough nuke ability, not fast.
