I am probably the individual here with the most hate towards the development team over their actions the last few weeks… But I like to look at this logically instead of emotionally, so please give me your reasons for defending this game..I will not reply or make fun of any answer…i am curious what the thinking of some of these players are who still think this game is great…So go ahead, give me your wors…err best reasons to love this game.
To be honest the devs made this game from nothing and they did a good job to start with.
Their lack of communication is the main 'cause of mob though.
People make mistakes during development all the time, acknowledging it though and letting people know that go a long way.
If you didn’t like the game to start with though you would’ve be here.
As of right now, I can’t. PvE is more stress than it’s worth. PvP well lets see, no progression after 700, inability to attack shielded players, loss of huge chunks of points unless shielded which means PvP is borderline (if not already) P2Win.
That being said, I made a new account to play through the prologue again. That’s fun, no stress, no competition (which is why so many people are clamoring for more persistent non competitive pve).
No-one is forcing you to play this game, even if you have spent money. If you don’t enjoy it, learn from the experience and move on. Then there’s one less person I need to compete with for rewards.
I currently cannot defend this game. It is just not possible to do so. The saddest part is, I WANT to play it, but the current state of the game renders it unplayable.
All I ask is where is the accountability? And not the politician lip service they gave us last week.
Hey guess what. I paid money to play a game that doesn’t work. This is not a troll thread. You are a dev in desguise. If you aren’t you are very wrong.
This game has brought me about 100 hours of fun and addiction. I’ve stayed up till 5am trying to place in tournies. I played it the way I played WoW or Dragon Age or Rift, which is saying a hell of a lot. It used to be awesome and is the first Android game I’ve ever played for more than 10 minutes.
It got me reading comics. Okay, I’m only on Week 3 of 63 of the Marvel NOW releases, but I’m having fun. I’ve got Dark Reign comics lined up to read next. I’ve now got digital versions of 4 of the covers used in the game (Ares, Hawkeye, GSBW, OBW).
My boyfriend and I started a Marvel movie marathon, watching all the Marvel movies in chronological order. I’ve watched most of them before, but now noticing details. We’re up to Iron Man 2. I was excited every time Magneto came onscreen and was tickled when he got his helmet and started wearing a cape. I was excited when Loki wore his demon horn helm in Thor. Thor actually Calls the Storm in the movie and does Thunder Strike. I was excited in IM1 and yelled out, “That looks like the IM35 suit!” I was excited every time he did Unibeam or Repulsor Blast. I was excited when I recognized Natalia’s name in IM2 and exclaimed, “It’s the Black Widow!” I was excited when Hulk yelled, “Hulk smash!” and did a Smash to stop the Abomination. And he did a Thunderclap to put out the fire on the helicopter. Fun quality time with the bf. He’s convinced now that I’m a bigger geek than he is (really not possible).
I have good memories of this game and it’s earned a place in my Top 10 games played in the past few years. I hold out hope that it will get over these bumps and return to its former (only 3 weeks ago) glory.
