edit: my bad, misread card text.
In this game you can have normally 3 creatures so there is no big involved in stealing a creature when you have 2 already 
IF the ai had 3 creatures then this could have been an issue.
So either you wrote the wrong number here(2 instead of 3) or did not understand how the game works.
