Yeah, I’m actually glad that there’s going to be a 3* Daken. An over-leveled 1 or 2* character is stronger than an over-leveled 3*, so new Daken should be less dangerous than old Daken (when their levels are equal). I have way more trouble with Juggs and Ares.
I still don’t want to see the inevitable field of Falcon/Daken/Lazy Thor teams in PvP, though. I think that will be horrible.
Honestly I don’t think Falcon and Daken are a good pairing unless you plan on going 5/5/3 and not using Chemical Reaction unless you need to. The reason. I match green, I get strike tiles, I match yellow I pump them up, I cast Chemical Reaction, those strike tiles are gone. In essence Daken works against Falcon when on the same team. You might as well build your Falcon 3/5/5 if you are going to pair him with Daken, if you decide to put 5 in Daken’s blue, if not, then they could work well together, but considering Daken can destroy as many as 4 of his own strike tiles, I’m not sure they are that good of a pairing.
Well now that it’s a fixed amount, theoretically the tile boosts will be distributed all over, so losing a couple may not be quite as bad as if it were still the percentage boost. Still a reason to consider a 5/5/3 build though

It’s funny… before BEATING this monster and his buddy Ares, I drew two Hulk Anger covers out of tokens. And that was pretty much how I was feeling at the MMR hell I was in.
Ares nearly died from my initial cascade damage alone. I’m not sure if that was karma or luck. I saved Daken for last.

Overleveled D3 will be worse than Ares and D2.
Old D was easy because he had no actives.
Now D3s going to be doing 2-3k dmg for 5blues while still being annoying Daken.
Can’t wait for Gold Bullseye and Gold Ares to round it all out.
