Ever since the first round of players joined in on the beta for Duel Decks, the team has collected a bunch of helpful feedback, and have already incorporated several adjustments to the event.
For this next run though, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be opening up the beta once again to players, and this time everyone that signs up will be accepted! If you want to get a chance to try out the event, win awesome Duel Deck rewards, and submit your feedback directly to the team, then don’t wait to sign up below:
Please make sure to sign up as early as possible though, since the next Duel Decks beta event will be starting on October 6th at 2am UTC. (October 5th, 7pm PDT / 10pm EDT)
Sundays are mostly eventless except TG.
With decks built for the coalition event theres usually not many matches to play there either so grinding runes in DD is a very good filler if I have a desire to play more.
That is kind of unavoidable really. The largest pool of active players for an event is always on a weekend. And for those that aren’t testing the beta certainly need something to play too.
Due to my extreme envy on encountering beta cards & walkers in the wild, I’ve reconsidered and, despite my documented inability to keep my big mouth shut, I’ve applied.
I very much hope we get some sort of clarification on exactly what we can say without violating the NDA… this game (or, at least the philosophy I subscribe to) thrives on discourse and collaboration between teammates and friendly rivals alike. It’s very difficult to break that habit.
@Brigby can you give us any insight on this matter?
Actually… no. We did not. Not sure where that idea came from. The most recent official statement I could find recommends not discussing the details of the event, however, when a company makes the event available to anyone who signs up, they have to come to expect some degree of leakage of what’s in the event, especially when the walkers and cards can be played in game against players who didn’t even participate.
