Is playing MPQ on Bluestacks allowed?

I have an alliance teammate who plays on iOS using his iPhone but his device seems to have died on him.

He has a PC, and from doing some quick internet research it seems that it’s possible to play MPQ on the Bluestacks Android emulator.

As a temporary measure only until he gets a new phone, will he be able play his account on Bluestacks?

Is that allowed? Or is playing via Bluestacks prohibited?

A reply from an admin or a link to a recent relevant forum post would be appreciated.

We don’t support it from a platform standpoint, just like we don’t support the PC build on Linux, but if you’re willing to put up with possible jank from emulation issues we don’t have a problem with anyone running the game on whatever hardware or software layer they want.

In this instance the teammate was able to get the game installed on an older iOS device but it’s good to know that Bluestacks can be used if it’s absolutely necessary in the future.
