Totally my same thought process. I got royally f-ed in the A hard in the Hulk PVE…took 11th…needed 10th…was in 7th the entire tourney…yeah…not bitter! Only extremely vengeful! Hahaha…anyways, maybe I’ll get some gleam of hope and happiness by pulling a Fury from one of the tokens I’m trying to win after each sub.

I know exactly how you feel, man. I missed a lot of sub endings over the weekend, and even then, I was holding. 7th place, 9th place, even 10th place all the way up until the last hour. But I had to do something really important for work in the last hour, and I slipped from 10th to 14th.
And now he’s an essential. 
9 day grind with Fury essentials after the mess that was The Hulk?
Don’t think so (and I’m speaking as someone who needs Patch covers)! I’ll play enough to hit tokens, progressions and at least 1 Patch, but Top 2? 
I have things to do, thanks.
On the one hand, I have all 3 colours of Fury from seasons 1 - 3 so essentials? No problem.
On the other hand, I don’t need the Patch reward and I’m not going to grind anywhere near enough for a 1-2 finish. I guess I’m just in it for the ISO and contributing to my Alliance in some way, since my lack of 1 star characters means I ain’t contributing in Combined Arms.
I was just posting, and I suddenly realized that somehow, after the discussion about how Fury is only a top 2 award… that we’ve started thinking of the tokens as the highlight of the event. Tokens are great, because you MIGHT get Fury… 
At least the Fury % is higher than usual if you get a event token. Just gonna do this for Tokens/HP/ISOs. Not gonna grind so hard and spend thousands of ISO like the last tournament.
So glad I sent my Torch out on patrol without checking who the required toons were… 275HP to recall him? Tinykitty that!
I sent out Fury and it’s 200 HP to recall him (14H to go).

I started playing this game about two weeks ago so I’m still learning the ropes. This morning I tried out this new Brotherhood event and got through the first three missions (sorry, not familiar yet with the terms used in the forums) when I realized I wasn’t earning any points towards rank progression. I received one of the four rewards for completing each the missions.
Is there a bug in my game? I stopped playing for a few hours and kept checking back to see if the game corrected itself. I then replayed a mission to see if that would jump start the ranking but nothing happened.

The first 3 missions had all loaned characters so they’re worth 0 points because you can try them as many times as you want at no loss.
The first three missions on the main map should have unlocked two more missions - playing those once will add you to a main bracket and open the two current sub events Iso-8 Peru and Iso-8 Nigeria. The sub event nodes are the ones with points that refresh every 2.5 hours.
Each sub event is 24 hours, there’s about 14 1/2 hours left for the current subs. When the current subs have ended two more nodes will appear on the main map to be played to open the next subs and so on for the next nine days. 
Must be a time thing then.
Edit: It is - one hour down and the price has dropped by 10 HP. Still insane though.
The time is fixed and only depend on who the character is. There’s another thread that lists the time needed to get people back. Of course, Nick Fury is the only person who needs more than 24 hours. I sent him out yesterday figuring even if he’s needed in the next event I’ll have him back by today, except he’s the only guy that needs more than a day to return.
10HP? You mean I may finally be able to even out my HP stash?
Ugh. Nine days? After 9 months, 4 seasons and 5 Human Torch reds, I just don’t have the heart to grind out nine straight days of this.
