Not a huge deal but clearly a bug.
Are you using Murder’s Flash on this? Because if so that’s not a bug. Radha gives mana when attacking, so if you kill using Flash the mana trigger still goes off.
Hmm. I don’t remember honestly but I will pay attention next time.
I confirmed this behavior today. GWR starts to attack and grants mana to the AI, then Murder is cast and he’s killed, he once again grants mana to the AI. So he’s granting mana twice to the AI.
Did he have another creature in play?
Technically speaking, I think that “attacks” in PQ is the same as “declared as an attacker” in paper. Essentially all creatures attack simultaneously, and get whatever triggered effects applied put in the queue (in paper terms, the ‘stack’), but they resolve as the individual creatures are assigning damage. The same applies to creatures that buff other creatures (Captain lannery storm for instance) in that if CLS is your third creature, she buffs everyone, but after damage from your other creatures has been applied, making it mostly ineffective.
Also, if an opponent has multiple attackers, then you are allowed to cast a fully charged flash spell before each assigns its damage.
Tl;Dr timing of effects can get weird in PQ
