We wanted to share to players that we recently became aware of a display error in the Dominaria Premium Pack. At the moment, it states 6X on the pack image, but we wanted to communicate that there are actually only 5 Boosters with 5 cards +1 Booster with the Bonus Rare Card included in this pack.
We are working on correcting this as soon as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
None is in a tizzy just saying they missed out on what would have been a diamond opportunity to make people happy ans make money.
Also, visual bug or not, it’s illegal to write 6 packs and give 5, so anyone that got a PP would be legally entitled to a refund, or at least for the extra pack they paid for, especially since the initial expectation of 6 packs would have been important in their decision to purchase DOM over other PPs with more interesting cards.
The “contract” for the purchase of 6 packs is still legally binding, just as an erroneous sign in a window is legally binding for the store
.. Well.. That’s either irony or a statement you might want to double-check.
This kind of reaction was appropriate when they accidentally gave out elite packs and took them away from everyone who didn’t open it yet.. In this case, it’s just a mistake and the reaction is totally appropriate.
The 6th pack is the guaranteed rare which the game considers a separate booster. Just like elite “pack” is a pack despite having one card. Haven’t encountered anyone that thought it was a problem or was confused by it.
But of course after reading the post by brigby some people would like to jump at the opportunity to critisize and demand stuff that they didn’t even know they were “entitled” to.
why not instead seize the chance and make a post saying “due to an error, the PP is only giving 5 packs…”
