My Holy Spreadsheet of No Overlapping Actives suggests Falcon / Hood, but they’re not boosted. Loki / Hood or Loki / Cage look interesting, though Black is an overlap in both.

A little tricky to find good synergy here. Might go with Cyclops + Squirrel Girl again. Or maybe go with my newly leveled 270 Nick Fury and X-force and just use Ragnarok as a Red user and feed the blues to Nick…

Use blues to make charged green, KK to use charged green and heal whenever Rags does as well. annoying long long battle. could be a skip for anyone in a hurry. i plan on using QS as a 3rd, both teams (you and AI) will be going after blue, may as well make it no fun, and his black can setup some nice thingies.

Quicksilver is actually a nice option with both sides putting blue on board. Hadn’t considered that. Thanks for the idea.

QS is an interesting option. While it’s true that AI will chase blue matching to keep rag alive, his black will help you get the 3-match you need as well. The only concern I have w/ using QS is that he would take up the spot for a boosted cyk, and frankly cyk has more firepower than QS aoe. But if your cyclops is under covered compared to QS or even SQ (who is still a better option in my view), then sure use QS.

I suspect most players will find QS to be a gimme matchup though, and will not skip a QS team. You have been warned. icon_twisted.gif

I hit someone last event running SQ. Maybe it was you… I regret that decision I was unprepared – she was truely unbeatable.

Rags, Cyc, Doom.. make blues, turn them black, blast in the face, rinse/repeat.

Got to 800 on my stream

Hit 1k before I needed to shield. Was pretty quiet, so I guess I chose to push at the right time. 2 bounces right after shielding. Were a couple matches where I was down to Ragnarok vs Ragnarok and those sucked because they took forever. Some I won, some I lost. His blue to heal, trying to gain enough red/blue/green before the other Rag did.

Even had a QS mirror match, that was fun but I took some damage from blue b/c I forgot that the AI will lock first, then mine, or whatever the order was. After using QS in the Juggs Heroic, I realize that my optimal spec was wrong. I went with 553, b/c blue is aoe and black can help speed up blue. In theory, that sounded like the bes spec to me. In practice, I was wrong; very hard to get 5 locked tiles due to some of them getting matched and blues not getting matched that often. 553 would be better if the damage didn’t require 4 locked tiles before going off. Now I need 2 greens.

Yeah, I feel dirty too for doing the same. Heck, I even maxed Squirrel Girl because she was boosted. All for one ProfX cover… I’m really not sure if a mere shower will wash away this horrible feeling.

895pts and shielded. I’ll play for sure and hop carefully last 100 points.

well, good luck to you…just shield hopped for 0 points - no matches were worth points. luckily I’ve got more time this weekend and I just lined up matches that should push me over 1000.

Hmm, I’m thinking 1k is probably possible for me now. Had no issues this event pushing up to 800. Like the last PvP, I’ve only been hit (multiple times) right after I shield. Either that or people are being nice somehow, even though I’m ranked like 40+ at the point when I’m pushing lol.

Got to 1K, mostly Rags/Cyclops/IF. Was kind of a slog, didn’t see many fights for over 30 points after 800. Slice 3. Shielded til the end.

Finally got 1,000 points…can shield hop a bit more but I doubt I’ll get to 1300. Professor X is getting so big and strong yey

Did my final shield hop…not moving fast enough between hops to gain any points. As much as ppl say anyone can get to 1300 it’s very hard to chew through a hulkbuster + rag before getting attacked. And my cyclops not being primo doesn’t help.

I got 999 points.
I fought a node I hadn’t bothered with before with level 180 guys for 1 point…but I’d lost 46. So I fought another one and got attacked for a buncha damage taking me to about 948. Found a hard node worth 65 and went for it. I won!

But I’d been hit 3 times for 100 points and dropped to 928.

I give up.

its a tough event b/c ppl will go crazy for deadpool and prof x…I made sure to do my shield hopping early and EVEN THEN had 1 bad shield hop + 2 shield hops with no point gain.

Hell, the people ABOVE ME in my bracket are losing rank(wtf?) because they’re getting pounded. I was #5 and now I’m #3 without gaining any points! I did have 2 defensive wins for 10-ish points, but barely matters in terms of ranks.

My point being…this is a really really tough PVP.
