That’s the most likely explanation. I mean, I still think its wrong for the Replicator. And its definitely wrong for Lathliss. But I wonder if it is intentional or not this time (it was pretty clearly intentional for the Replicator)
I still prefer gishath. 3 colors, haste and berserker plus it can ramp other dinos. Lathliss does not impact the board in any way so you can safely remove her.
She’s not bad per se especially for a rare, just nowhere near ridiculous. I’m just curious if this was intentional or not.
I dunno, is the extra 4/4 really that huge of a difference? I get if you don’t like that card, but I don’t think the 1 extra reinforcement is the difference between amazing and garbage.
As for Lathliss, I think her starting out as a 12/12 is nuts. But if its intentional I’m not going to complain much. I’d just like to know if it was intentional or not.
“Whenever a non token dragon enters the battlefield under your control, reinforce this creature” I think all the qualifications are met when you summon her, to reinforce her. I think she works well now and frankly I like it. She’s finally worth playing now and makes a great companion for Sarkhan the broken.
They mentioned the replicator change as a bug fix during one of the previous updates, so it’s definitely right for replicator and since tokens don’t affect lathliss I’d say that it’s right for her too.
I think Lathliss reinforcing herself is an intended change. She should have been doing so since the beginning.
Mishra’s does so to make it an 8/8 for 16 that reinforces on any historic card being cast, not just that same creature type. Lathliss was a 6/6 for 21 that only reinforced when the same creature type was cast other than herself.
