The consequences of the Phyrexian invasions were terrible. Ixalan as a whole suffered at the hands of the Phyrexians, but this triggered a new cycle of expeditions. A new world within the plane full of wonders and riches brought a new rush for exploration. A new world full of new dangers to be unveiled.

My thoughts on the event:
Pros

  • only 90 ribbons for full progression, compared to Into the Wilds of Eldraine (180 ribbons). That equals to 9 matches (with full objectives), which is not too bad. I would still probably prefer a 5-5-5 distribution of ribbons per objective. But that’s me being lazy and remembering the days of Rising Tensions being the daily event. That being said, Into the Wilds of Eldraine should get reduced to 90 max ribbons needed as well.

Cons

  • I’m not sure if it’s lore-imperative, because we’re supposed to “explore” the regions of a plane, but having the Leyline objective for every node in both Into the Wilds of Eldraine and Lost in Caverns of Ixalan ranges from boring to annoying.

Neutral

  • I’m not sure how that happened, but atm I have 88 ribbons (I missed a Leyline objective at the top once), but I’ve only played 2 nodes so far. It looks like I had an extra charge at the top node, but I don’t know why. Is that because I missed an objective?

Since I don’t see a topic for Into the Wilds I’ll put this here because I’m echoing Asylamb.

Just as previously with Revolving Planeswalk, please change the ribbons to 5/5/5. Even then it takes you 12 perfect games, instead of 18 matches now (and more if you miss an objective). Or as also suggested above, making it a 90 points event instead of 180 @Magic_PQ_Support_Team
