The aftermath of the Phyrexian invasion affected all tribes of Ixalan pretty hard; which made the new discoveries coming through the recently found caverns to the underground even more enticing. But how precarious the great forces of Ixalan were left, to rely their future on a gold rush? We will see a bit about how the Merfolks and Pirates of Ixalan are dealing with it.

Thank you for sharing further information about this event. There is no mention of recharge times. At 2 charges per node and six nodes, I will assume that we get to play 12 total games in this event for a maximum score of 120 points?

There is no difference between normal and bonus rewards except for an additional 5 crystals for coalition rank rewards. Is this correct?

Man, what are we gonna do with all these rewards. Wish i had an extra pocket for those 5 crystals :slight_smile:

@Larz70 The final progression reward goes from Booster Pack to Super Pack.

The numbers on the objectives seem high. “6 or more Land supports”, “6 or more Merfolk”, “6 or more Pirates”.. we don’t know how the levels will play out yet, but objectives like these tend to lead to noodling around waiting for the objectives long after we could have won the game, and players often hate that.

Nobody wants to play the pre-nerf version of Emrakul’s Corruption again, do they? Search for those words here on this very forum and you’ll get a lovely trip down memory lane of all of us complaining about it :slight_smile:

I’ll reserve my judgement for the event until after it’s run but I really hope it’s nothing like the first Four Tribes event.

Two “bonus” boosters and 5 extra crystals? Maybe I’m in the minority here but the way the “bonus” rewards were mentioned multiple times and players were meant to look forward to the “bonus” reward structure, this feels extremely anticlimactic.
