Your Hulk/XF/whoever did not let this happen, gamblr is always gifting his points away when he doesn’t need them.
Star Boy, dunno.
I got my 2400 eons ago and installed a cStorm/MMN team in there which lowered my MMR for me the lazy way (I only had to skip the retals later).
Why not? No reason to sweat for top 5 if it’s full of the usual suspects already, and t10/t25 are virtually the same; and come to think of it, most new characters are not in tokens anyway yet. Besides gamblr just wrote in this thread that he got DP black already and will be giving away points.
For the people who are going for 2400, consider how many covers you already have if you’re going for a 5/5/3 build on Deadpool, My Deadpool is 4/2/2 right now, so getting the extra black cover won’t do too much for me since I only need 1 more to complete my optimal build, for instance.
For me, it’s less about the cover and more about just reaching the score. Also about the fact that I’m having a ton of fun playing with X-Force.
However, 1388 to 2400 was too ambitious for one stretch. I’ve stopped at 1900 for the night. I may or may not try again tomorrow depending on how the Falcon and Juggernaut events go.
Mine was level-capped at 94 and 5-1-1 covers
So mid-season I was lucky and ran to 2400 without shielding or anything, and was able to level DP some more.
I only did one “hop” of 3 hours to replenish my health packs to go from 2300 to 2400.
The rest of my run was over the course of about a week for the most part. There wasn’t a lot of retaliation until I got to 1900 or so and even then I could beat one or two guys to regain the ground I lost.
Simulator is such a terrible waste of time. Its only purpose is to help new players and buffer your season 5 score at the end of the season.
In order to get above 1500, you need to stay shielded any time you’re not playing.
Just for a couple of 3 star covers at the top of the totem pole.
To put it in perspective; you grind and shield and work and lose all season to try and get to 2400, just to get 2 3 star covers. Meanwhile, you can get 3-4 covers really easily just by putting that same amount of effort into one PVP, which lasts and requires shields for, at most, only 2 and a half days.
I didn’t use one shield. I steadily climbed up to about 2100 and then did the last 300 points in a single sitting. I didn’t get hit once during that final play session, although I did get attacked about 15 times within a couple hours of reaching 2400.
I don’t have any hp for shields- could not make it past 1800- was getting hit real hard when I even got close. I guess my roster is not scary enough without huge Daken and sentry- Maybe it was my bracket I would hit top 30 as soon as I was at 1800
