As I have done for the last few seasons, I will be updating this from time to time with the 10 events for the season with links to the individual threads.
From the recent video we know there will be a couple of changes:
Please, please, please: if it’s a Carnage cover, make it not be red. That was the progression award and the low reward last time the PVE ran.
My vote is for

It’s a plea, not a complaint. A complaint would be “I can’t believe they’re making it red again.”
My 3/0/3 Carnage would also like to see a black cover, but if it’s the way the Hulkbuster one was, I think it will be red. I just sold mine since I ended up with a fully covered HB solely through rewards before that season cover came out. Didn’t grind nearly as hard for Carnage, so he’s going to take a bit longer.
Wow. They weren’t kidding when they said the sim rewards would be better. Those are downright amazing.
I’m thrilled about the Simulator - I got all of about 300 points in it last season; now there are covers I need at 900 and 2000. I’m hoping enough people push to 2000 so that that Professor X is plausible to get. I’ll definitely push to 900; I’ll be able to get my Vision to 166 with it (though I will still need two reds to get him specced right).
Last season with the higher points on wins people were easily getting to 2k, so that should be the same this season especially with a lot more people actually wanting to get that high. It’s happened in regular events already where the amount of people aiming for 1k makes it more achievable for everyone else. Rising tide etc.
I must say, I was pleasantly shocked to open the Simulator this season.
I’ve never even contemplated playing it because the “rewards” were frankly a joke.
This season? Not-so-much. 
For the first time in over 600 days, the Sim is actually worth playing, and that is not a small thing.

What’re the odds a roster such as mine (in my sig, but mainly 120’s) can reach that Mags blue? I can foresee myself stalling out around 1300-1400 and having it taunt me.
honestly, it depends - the higher people score, the “safer” you’ll be. Since no one’s really taken Sim seriously before(besides the zealous), we’ll have to see what points people average at, etc.
Which is why I wanted to discuss Sim.
I imagine much like normal PVP, top 40 and up will be filled with 4* players and will hover around 2000 points. Can’t say where the cutoff will be beyond that…
My bracket is struggling to hit and maintain 2000 points. I was hoping people would go for it more than they have but seems to be a lot of in fighting at the top to maintain position with no one actually getting anywhere.
It has been more or less announced that Category 5 will be followed by First Avenger, Top Gun, and Fly-Fight-Win, in that order. Independence Day weekend stuff will have an event vault with fewer items than a DDQ vault.
Going thru Shield Sim PVP on my stream, got 1700. I got knocked down a couple hundred points over a couple days(not a big deal), but I’ve got 5 ppl with 2k+ points in my bracket. If attacks don’t start should be able to make 2k easily
