Silly question. Why cannot we just not post here? (Indeed, we could actually polls here, which would seem more useful than a list of names on fb. Also, we have many such polls here already.) They would have one extra place to look, but it would seem the data would be more useful.
I vote for THANOS with the infinity gauntlet. He could take on everyone else ala THANOS vs MPQ! 
Probably because Facebook is more in the public’s eye and it’s being used by our new community manager as a vehicle to build more popularity for the game.
If Demiurge is sincerely committed to the game’s community, then they should not be running tripe like most-popular-character polls at all. They should be engaging the community in active debate regarding balance issues, the EU timezone issue, etc. and get that stuff sorted out and fixed. With the timezone issue alone they’re neglecting a potentially huge EU market, leaving it untapped because EU players drop left and right due to being consistently handicapped by event ending times and because their negative experiences stymie word-of-mouth propagation of the game that would help it get a foot in the door. So, it’s not like there’s nothing to gain for them there.
I’m a little confused about the question. The wording of “Which character in the Marvel Universe would you most like to see featured in an upcoming Marvel Puzzle Quest Versus Tournament?” implies that they’re looking for a character that already exists in the game, but everyone seems to be perceiving it as “Which new character in the Marvel Universe would you most like to see added to the game?”. Which one is it?
Shouldn’t it either be "Which character in your roster would you most like to see featured in an upcoming Marvel Puzzle Quest Versus Tournament?" or “Which new character in the Marvel Universe would you most like to see added to the game?”.

Just changed the thread title to reflect the fact that it’s not just Versus Tournaments. FB post notwithstanding, we want up to the date, right this second, “Who do you want in the game” info. This is separate from the thread in the Character Discussion that, while useful in and of itself, is kinda getting on in years.
Also: I vote Howard the Duck.
I’d love to see the FF finished. Mister Fantastic in particular could potentially have some really interesting ability mechanics.
Speaking of, the Illuminati are ripe for the picking.

I vote for Meggan. If you choose her, please, pleae, do not mess her up.
Yeah there was just a thread a month ago where people voted for new characters. Iirc the winners were gambit, nightcrawler, and silver surfer. I’d hardly call a month “getting on in years”. You can even look through the thread and see how individuals were voting since some really just wanted one character and others voted for 8
Edit: and as for me, my sig says it all. Bring on silver surfer pls! Thanos would be a great one too though, and we do need more villains still it seems.

And as a gesture of good will to EU players, have his debut PvE and debut PvP event finish around times that are actually EU-friendly; i.e. 10 PM GMT.
This one isn’t Anniversary related. More an additional data point for central character planning.
But to say something about the Anniversary, we’ll be doing a couple polls in the upcoming couple days here that will have direct ties to that. And those couple polls aren’t all we have planned.
How is the microscope and nerf planning of Sentry going? A Sentry nerf, the greatest anniversary gift of all…lol.
Another sales like that Google sale would be awesome for the anniversary. By far, that is the best sale you have had. I know myself and others would love another shot and buying at those prices.
