New Character - Firebird (Bonita Juarez) 4*

The anniversary starts in October, not September.

There is nothing showing for October yet as far as planned releases.

How do you get 2700 cp in 3 weeks?

Well, for the last one I had to start hoarding as soon as it opened. I managed to get the 2100 for the 40 pull. And I got a couple hundred more towards the 10 pull, but then I had to ascend every eligible character as well as Cash in my taco tokens (about 200 of them.) then I was able to finish clearing it out.

Then I started hoarding for the next one as soon as I finished clearing the whole thing. Everything I get over 2700. I’m spending on legendary tokens, but I’m probably gonna start hoarding again and try to get double since anniversary is coming up.

The first one I managed to get up to about 1800 CP with about 3 1/2 four days left and I wound up having a snafu with my Apple account right as the game forced an update that I couldn’t download because of the snafu. Then I got locked out of the game for about a week and couldn’t play. By the time I got back in the vault had closed and I didn’t get to get any of it.

I seem to average about 150 to 200 CP per day.

What? Now I’m flabbergasted and I’ve been playing 11+ years. What do you do each day for 150 to 200 CP? I really am curious. Majority of my CP come when I break hoards of tokens, definitely not from the actual playing of MPQ. But I’m definitely open to learning new ways to get CP. Thanks.

By playing.

Take the amount you play? Now increase it.

The only limit to how much HP/CP you gain is the time you can spend on grinding PVP wins.

There absolutely is a limit to how much CP one can gain in a day consistently. There is no possible way to consistently get 150 to 200 a day as if is easy to do. Grinding PvP wins doesn’t give out CP like candy. I’m actually curious to the poster on how they specifically do it. If it is playing the game 17 hours a day, I’d love to know what they are actually playing for those 17 hours.

To gain maximum CP requires a few things:

  1. High level ascended copies of 1s and 2s. 3s also help
  2. Many high level champ 4s
  3. High level meta toons who can quickly win PVP rounds within your MMR

If you have a team that can hit others fast enough you can grind out up to hundreds of matches per PVP event and gain 1s and 2s. If those 1s and 2s can go into ascended to 5s then you will churn lots of CP.

Really it’s about your roster itself as far as how much CP you can gain. If you have an old roster with many many 4s at high levels then your 4s you get turn into more CP than, for example, if you are much newer or played a lot less and are still trying to champ all the 4s.

Obviously time is a factor but the real litmus is where your covers go as you earn them and what the ROI is. But also yes, having the giant toons to win most PVP matches very quickly is a key factor. If you can’t win fast, odds are you lose somewhat commonly, and your time spend will probably not seem less rational if matches take several minutes or more to win. Let’s say you took 3 minutes to play a PVP match and want to do 300 a day. Who’s got 15 hours to play PVP? If people do, I guess they deserve to win.

Yes, just this. Turning 1 and 2 star cover drops into champ rewards. The higher your champs, the quicker you gain CP. Every 16 covers of a 1as5 is worth 25 CP and an LT (50 CP). So to gain 200 CP per day, you need to win 4x16=64 fights, if all you do is PVP and your cover drops are only 1s (below 500 wins in an event, the drop rate is 80+% for 1 and 2 star covers, with most being 1s). But there’s other sources of income of course to complement it.

With a fast team, or seal bashing, you can gain that in under 2 hours.. or an even a single LR.

This varies of course if you have weaker teams or if your farms are less developed. But like all things with MPQ.. it snowballs. You might not get that much return right now, but every fight brings you closer to that yield.

Thanks. Appreciate the info.

I think the biggest thing that some folks don’t do is opening tokens. You don’t really get much CP from playing the game – most of it comes from champion rewards. You can get quite a few 1:star: and 2:star: covers from playing PVP, but tokens give you a lot of covers too.

I know some people hoard legendary tokens to max out the new 5:star:, but hoarding ALL of your tokens means you’ve got a lot of levels (and rewards) sitting in that pile of random heroics or elites or whatever.

Yeah . … “aerial superiority”

Is it really though?

Basically everything @Daiches, @bluewolf, and @entrailbucket just said. I don’t hoard tokens like eb’s suggestion, grind lots of PvP like Daiches suggested, and like bluewolf said you need lots of ascended characters for their rewards.

For perspective, I have earned 90 CP today and I haven’t played a single PvP match. I’ve only played my PvE clears (2/node to close out the 1st sub and 3/node to open the 2nd) and my Deadpool’s Daily.

And once again, just for perspective, I earned 175 CP today and again I have not played a single PvP match today. Only played PvE and DD. The difference today is that I got 35 CP as progression rewards in PvE and I spent 200 HP on 1 pull from the chroma vault and got 50 CP for that. So not playing any PvP I seem to average about 90 CP per day.
