So one of the members of DeadpoolsRings, blade88 went on a pretty large spending spree lately to improve his roster. In the She-Hulk PVP he was charging up the scoreboard. When he got close to 2k, and none of could queue him we figured something was up. He was not hit even 1 time in the event. He still remained in our alliance. Thinking proactively I pmd David & Ice, the messages haven’t been read yet, but I realize its early out west, so not faulting those guys. Now, with a half hour to go, blade88 was dropped from the alliance, moving DeadpoolsRings from 15th, to 37th!
This new pre-sandboxing is not working D3
I also reached out to Gypsy Danger to compare notes. Seems to be identical as to what happened to Gypsy.
After blade88 was kicked, I message Gypsy again to tell him what happened. Gypsy graciously offered one of his guys to fill in at the last minute for the end of the event, and put us back in top 25. Gypsy is a class act, and I would like to thank him for his generosity.
Thank you for the immensely classy gesture and assist to our ever-improving sister alliance, DeadPoolsRings.
Before this nonsense, the Rings were slated for a top 15 overall…their highest to date. Our commanders spent a good chunk of the morning explaining things to our group and reassuring everyone that “We’ll get em next time”.
By Lending us Kebab as a “ringer” (ha ha), the Rings were able to achieve what they deserved without having to wait until “next time”.
Please send our genuine thanks and good fortune in S7 and beyond to your whole crew.
EVERY XMen I’ve conversed with has been beyond cool and I have to point out they are considered adversaries by the tacorings which makes this action even more admirable!
Thank you Gypsy and the rest of XMen! You are all classy champions! Much respect fellas!
Looked into it, figured out why he got mistakenly sandboxed, and fixed it. Rings needs to kick someone in order to get Blade back in, but other than that, it doesn’t look like anything was really “lost” due to Gipsy’s awesomeness.
In other, but related news, we also made a back end change this morning after looking into this recent rash of sandboxings that would prevent repeats of what Gipsy and Blade both experienced.
Huge applaud to X-Men and kebob. Pretty amusing considering the musing about you guys not so long ago. Not to kick a dead horse, but a real class act. Have a gold star!
Smaller, but still large applaud to IceIX for the relatively quick catch and fix. We all appreciate it. Any chance we could know what was wrong?
