Guys just FYI this is not a reliable way to measure bracket size.

I joined slice one with my noob Steam account and it was just 90 players.

I quickly joined with my main account and it was already 742 players. I did another check an indeed I was in another bracket altogether as the main leader were 2 different persons.

There’s a bracket for newbies and another bracket for veterans.

It is 100% reliable. There is a beginner bracket and a veteran bracket. Trying to use an alternate account doesn’t work because of this reason. Having others that are in the veteran bracket State how many players are in a slice works 100% of the time.

To be even more clear: there are often more than one “vet” brackets as well. So ultimately kensterr was right: just because someone says “new slice 1 just opened!” doesn’t mean you have a 100% chance to get into it. You may still end up #895 in an alternate bracket.

That said: it’s still much more helpful than a complete and utter random shot in the dark, which is why these threads exist.

Friend joined slice 1. New account just filled and his main he said was at 142

Vet bracket for slice 3 has less than 300 people. Top player had roughly 4K last i checked
