It’s a welcome break from that rush of new characters over three weeks. I approve!
Likely proof that if there hadn’t been a movie to push characters forward for, we’d have gotten the normal pace of releases.
I agree in theory but we have Antman likely in the queue as well as Yellow Jacket, maybe?
My issue is that this started way back with PX. Let’s assume they had contractual obligations for all of these releases. So that means they knew they had to do a women of marvel (KK) before the end of that month, then Kingpin for DD, then QS, SW, HB and Vision. And do it in about a 2.5 month period with Vision likely having to come after the release of AOU for spoilers reasons for the casual fan.
Given all of that, they chose 2 back-to-back-to-back set of releases with 2 or 3 off events sprinkled in. Maybe I’m naive but there had to be a schedule that doesn’t include these ridiculous marathon of releases and still meet the requirements of their Marvel contract. My thought was to push PX (which isn’t linked to anything) or the Rags “buff” and go back-to-back at worst and spread out the rest of those releases so that the morale of the players isn’t at an all time low.
At least with the Ultron event, i was able to get enough HP for some roster slots. They need to do a “Thanks for sticking with us” event, each progression reward is HP.. Just once, so we can get caught up
Agreed. I was swimming in HP that I got to finish off my IF (black) and KK (green) because I scored one of the 2900 HP rewards. I never buy covers and wanted to splurge with a decent stock saved up.
Slowly building back up but it was the only time in my time playing mpq that I really didn’t worry about roster slots or my HP usage because Ultron was spitting HP out like a wonderful pinata.
Will it be too much to ask for the anniversary event too when it is supposed to happen in August?
not sure about you, but ldaken, I’d love to use but mine is just sitting there at 2/1/2 and I plan on grinding on this one.
Anniversary will be in October/November again, like last year.
Hopefully those Anniversary tokens will make a comeback, as well as 20-people-brackets in LRs.
Although with seed teams gone, even those LRs will be painful, so scratch that.
Wonder how many people who remember last year’s anniversary will still be playing in 5 months.
Daken IS a plus, but the previous ones (Colossus, Shulk (tho I love her), and someone else) were just silly. And the PvEs, too. Dock, Beast, etc. Ew.
Oh…and Seed Teams ARE still there, if you open the events within 3.9 seconds. lol
