I’m not saying I’m feeling optimistic but I don’t think that we should dismiss Boomerang in game because he’s so lame in comics.
You never know….just wait to see what they do. Maybe he’ll steal the opponent’s AP passively or something.
Yeah, toad isn’t exactly a powerhouse in the comics but he is one of the best 4 stars in game

Admittedly it’s possible there is some data mining going on here but even then, powers can change when going live.
Again any update on the brand new day costume. Don’t say unlock this Costume if we don’t know how. I’m pretty sure it will be money related but still
There is also an offer for Vulture (Adrian Toomes) shards currently in the game. These things are often related and foreshadow things/events to come.

It seems clear to me that the BND event is a season-long series of events and vaults. Clearly the devs could have communicated that better and put date ranges on the various elements but the fact that a costume isn’t available yet when the season has like 3 weeks left is not concerning to me.
I fully expect a costume to cost money and will be pleasantly surprised if it doesn’t.
I really really wish they had/would rebalance 5 MCU spidey to make him more relevant in the game as he was my first 5 champ but he’s utterly useless at this point. I suppose eventually they’ll nerf all the meta toons enough that I can run him.
Both 5* Spidey’s need buffing and making them usable would really have helped for this Heroic themed season.

Ya I would never pay 10 bucks for a costume especially with how this game is going down the crapper with all,the bugs and whatnot.
maybe change the wording from unlock to spend money. First that hellfire gala storm costume and now this one.
I honestly don’t think anyone should be surprised it’s a costume you have to buy. No offense. The only free costumes from play nowadays are the pass ones. The last time they had an earnable one from placement or progression was like 6-7 years ago.
It’s 2000hp for $9.99. The costume is just a bonus.

If you primarily want HP from purchases, $9.99 for 2000 plus the other stuff is one of the best rates they offer to us. VIP only gives you 1000 hp, but there is other stuff too (9 tokens of various kinds, 20 CP, iso).
