I’ll confess my ignorance here… what is the point of this card? It’s really expensive and does… what exactly?
squee is one of the cards I’ve been eyeing (and hope I pack), he’s basically an unkillable creature (like Relentless Dead from Innistrad), every time he dies he comes back a bit stronger, so he’d be really good to use in a creature sacrifice deck, or with a support that gives your creatures vigilance.
Also he’s the snazziest goblin in all of mtg history
He gets reinforced when he comes back - but his stats doesn’t change. Any deck ideas are welcome, right now he’s just a card that’ll give me orbs if I get it again
He’s also an engine for the goblin reinforcement cost effect mechanic.
What card/cards are you referring to?
hmmmm, that’s unfortunate. When I read his ruling (since I dont own him yet) I thought his stats wouldn’t increase when being reinforced (ex: casting multiple squees or another spell/ability that reinforces a creature) but his own ruling would override that…so basically only he could reinforce himself.
Not having that rule be true makes him considerably less useful.

He is still a 3/2 ( or whatever his stats are) even with a hundred reinforcements
yeah I’m realizing that now. I don’t own the card so I was going off my presumption of the rules based on the wording of the card.
for 20 mana, I want it to cook dinner as well. Not just be a 3/2…

You’re most welcome! A small favor though, could you give us an honest opinion on how well or effective Squee really is when used in the manner intended? His cost is awful high, So I am making an educated guess that there has to be something that we are missing in the equation regarding his effectiveness. Any feedback would be awesome. Have fun!
I’ll be curious if anyone could make him work. He seems to pale in comparison to the other Leader, Slimefoot, who is simply awesome.
So, first things first : it works as expected.. But it’s just a small niche strategy.
The fungal plot is definetely made for slime foot and doesn’t fit him. It eats the saprolings before it eats the squee.
Zhahid eats supports.
All goblin related works with him, but the synergies are.. Silver tier IMO. I don’t think you could be competitive in platinum or even gold with it. The spell giving - 8..Well.. It works fine, there are just better, more mana efficient cards.
The best use for him when trying was actually as a target for reclaim, the two belong together.
The only cards that could make this creature really interesting are
Mox amber and
Torgaar, Famine incarnate
I have neither of those. Without them, I don’t think we’ll see him a lot in any tier above silver.
All of those cards work with any (token) reinforcement if I understood it correctly. Most token generators will be superior IMO.
Sad to hear it. I was actually looking forward to abusing this card… 
totally misread the words I bolded in your comment as “Sliver tier” and got super excited for a moment. Took a moment to imagine goblins as mtgpq’s version of slivers, and then my dreams plummeted like a meteor as I finished reading what you wrote
