Am i the only one in my slice.. went in, started rank 3, did 3 seed teams, and now it is just this 1 person on all 3 subs (max team, so i have a feeling he is about to farm me)

I had seed teams up to about 150 pts - that was weird, like a LR. my sentry is not covered well and although I have boosted thor, I don’t have a great boosted second. after making it to 1000 2x in a row (with some great boosted characters) this one seems unlikely, although I really want the px. we’ll see.

Yeah my Sentry is cover maxed but not level maxed. I got to about 575 and shielded. I plan to hop my way to 1000. I really want that Blue PX

I’d be happy to make a deal with my slice. You all let me get to 1000 points and I promise to remain un-shielded after that so you can hit me for big easy points. That’s what I did for the HB black a couple events ago. Well, I mean I didn’t arrange it with people, but once I hit 1K I was happy to give back to the community

funny, i did that for xforce a while back when grocket was the placement award. i already used my 8 and 3 hr and to shield to the end would have cost me an extra 300 hp for a yellow grocket that i was going to finish in ddq literally days later, so i just left it unshielded and ended up with about 550 or so. I’ve since learned how to better manage my shields and hops, but I’d be happy to do that again here, just not feeling it yet.

i agree that there are a ton of xf’s out there. lots of different 3rds (hood, lthor, fist, patch, even a gsbw), but lots of xf/something.

I thought that with ProfX blue and KK rewards scores would be very high, but I am in a gropu in the third time slice and the number 1 has just a little less than 600! Last time with Kingpin rewards by this time there were people already in the 1000s!

There’s a few things to consider:

1. The people who can consistently hit 1k before shielding will still be able to do that regardless of what the current scores are, but they may need to use a shield if no one else is playing.
2. Because of the way the events overlap (W-F, F-Su), people may have been putting their pvp time into Magnetic Mayhem (I know I was).
3. SHIELD sim may also be eating some players designated PVP time if they have not been putting up points already.
4. Depending on PVE slices chosen, play time yesterday may have gone to PVE. 2nd sub there is 2 days long, making it a little freer to play PVP.
5. People may be done with the season. If faced with grinding Starfall for last minute season points which might not bump you up a rewards bracket, or enjoying life and sanity, many people may opt for the latter, especially if they’ve met alliance season requirements.

The number of perfectly executed Sacrifice → Supernova combos my team has eaten is too damn high!

The only thing keeping this even remotely tolerable is that I have both blade/groot max’d, and sentry covered at 125. What a miserable way to end the season.

Hoping to do 2 hops to finish just to cross over the 1k line for Wheels blue. I’ve barely squeaked out 1k a couple times this season, and I’ll try, but I kinda doubt it’ll happen when all my queues are fistbuster and wheelsbuster right now… teams I seem to lose to 4/5 times on offense… even with boosted 240’s, thats a lot of health to chew through before something bad happens.

Edit: Stream is over, took down a hulkbuster and so many high damage characters ugh. Will probably get top 50, but knowing the players, they may push me to top 100

Yeah, this event’s been one hot mess. I had to resort to old school shield hopping to clear 1K. If I didn’t really want that Prof X blue, I would’ve given up much earlier.

for the entire season, I’ve gotten comfortable with the hovering/pushing up and then hopping to 1000 with 1 match hops. did it several times, made it to 1000 3x. was in very good shape to do the same here, but my last 2 hops I couldn’t finish one match without getting hit once. both times, net losses in pts each time. that left all that hp on the table for nothing (ok not nothing, I finished t25 with 918). amazingly enough, my 3rd to the last hop (single match), I just knew I was going to get hit, because a maxed grocket kept getting yellow dropped for him when he needed it - he healed to nearly full twice. that was annoying but I came out of that one ok. my last 2 were not slow games but I didn’t time them - pretty frustrating. really wanted px. I know it will be a looong time before blue comes up again.
