Lot of negativity on the forum at the moment (perhaps rightfully so).
So let’s have a thread of pure, unbridled joy. You know that moment when you cash in a standard token, and you get that feeling of glee when it turns gold? Tell us about it here! Or maybe you finally got that last 2* cover you needed, and have no-one else to share the enjoyment with.

Ok. I’ve missed the PVE Thor cover by 7 places (thank you for 4 am finish of the event). I ended up getting 2 gold tokens (from the normal and hard quests) and one of them turned into… Nick Fury. It’s cool for me as I did not get the cover when he was released and he could be featured in some PVE events. Glad I had the HP to recruit him as well. Overall - happy but I would like that Thor cover as well 
Well I got some standard tokens while doing LR yesterday. Most of them where 1* insta sell ones… but luck was with me as I got my first IM40, Second Lcap and 8th Ares covers from them. I also got my 11th OBW cover but it was a purple one and I already have max purple so I could not use it (Sad about this).
In general yesterday was a great day as my alliance was 12th in PVE and got the LThor cover as well.

I got my first IM40 yesterday too, also from a standard token, though if memory serves mine came from a PVE node rather than LR.
Picked up two Bag-man covers too, and if that isn’t something to cheer about, I don’t know what is!
I was second in SImulator PVE, so I won bluer fury and 2/1/1 Thor. And 4 simulator tokens. There was … green LThor in one of them, so 2/1/2 Lthor in one day is godlike !!
From the last seven Simulator PvE tokens I managed to get four golden pulls:
3* Daken purple
3* Storm yellow
IW yellow
Patch green
Four out of seven: pretty good luck. Only two of them were usable for me, but still.
Missed 25th place in the PvE by a few hundred points. I had the temerity to not stay up till 5am in pursuit of the extra cover reward.
Woke up, found out how close I was to a green LThor cover, resisted the urge to man-cry.
Then pulled green LThor from a 1* token.
Order is restored to the universe - NOW I can man-cry.
I got x-force from a simulator token - bad luck I thought to myself, then lo and behold he got buffed the next day. Hooray
I bought a 10 pack yesterday, and it might have been the best 10 pack I’ve ever bought. Got a yellow X-Force, yellow Falcon, yellow Spidey, and green She-Hulk.
Completely off topic, but you may want to respec to 3 purple when you get the covers to do so. That makes it only cost 8, which allows you to cast it in 2 matches if you can espionage on both.
Or, of course, keep it as is if you so desire, just a tip about what most people do
Psylocke was one of the few 3* covers I was missing 3 months ago. She was the first one I cover maxed. Pulled 7-8 from tokens, a couple of which were standards.
I also have 8 covers in XForce without ever winning him in an event (3 are the daily rewards, though)
out of the 20 PvE Sim Tokens, I had two saved up pulls. 14 and 6 which gave me the following
2 x IW
2 x xforce
Sentry
LDaken
if you ask me, doesnt get any better pull then that. Now that everyone wants x-force
That is the plan. I just need the covers for it. For the moment it would be nice to have her at max. If more covers will come I’ll be happy to respec her.

After something like three weeks without a standard token turning into anything helpful, I opened one from the simulator last night, and out popped Hood! That makes six covers for him, too - if only I could find a blue…
After recent update I pulled a Red Daredevil from a standard token. Laughingly I didnt need it, but I had this weird thought that the update bugged the tokens and I bought another standard for 500ISO… crap. Oh well - sold my daredevil token for 500ISO and broke even. Next event I got a standard token, what did I pull? The same Daredevil cover. 
The last PvE with Nick Fury featured, I got some good pulls. Missed out on all three of his covers through the 3 seasons, managed to pull 1 of each color through those PvE tokens. So I got that going for me, which is nice.
I pulled a Purple LDaken from my daily reward recruit token this morning taking him to 4,5,3. Now I have to decided to buy the 13th cover or wait and see if they have him as a reward in a PVP/PVE soon. I am hoping they do and I can buy a couple of Blue Hoods instead. I also finished top 10 in PVE so I have my LThor at 5,2,5. I really need some yellow LThor covers.
I finally made an effort on the last LR this week. I barely missed top 8. But my LR token held a blue IM40.
One of the few 3*s I don’t have fully covered.
I recently got a black Xforce from daily resupply, does that count ?
Only got an GSBW and a Daredevil from the entire Simulator (although finished Top 10 and got three LThor covers, wheeeee)…and then pulled a yellow IW from the God of Lies token I earned. Huzzah!
