Thanks again to everyone for your patience regarding the server issues that all players experienced last night (EST). We were able to get the servers live again and did some research so we can prevent the same issue from happening again in the future.
Most if not all players should have received their rewards from both the “Deadpool vs. Marvel Puzzle Quest” Event and the “Lord of Thunder” Versus Tournament. We do want to make sure that players that participated in these tournaments are rewarded appropriately, therefore we will be rewarding player accounts with a bit more starting at the beginning of the “Thick as Thieves” episode that launches tomorrow at 12PM EST (please note: rewards may take 24 hours to post to player accounts).
Users who entered the “Deadpool vs. Marvel Puzzle Quest” Event will receive 1 Thick as Thieves Recruit Token, which has a chance of Deadpool in the Event Pack. In addition, users who entered the “Lord of Thunder” Versus Tournament will receive 2 Unholy Outlaw Recruit Tokens, allowing for a chance at The Hood who was the reward for the “Lord of Thunder” Tournament.

Lol you’re being wildly optimistic with 3 3 star covers from 3 2 star cover packs. Personally I was more affected by the lost hour on the Thor event than the minute lost in deadpool it would be nice if I get to chose not to have deadpool compensation but have more hood compensation
1500? You’re quite optimistic on those 3* pulls. Anyhow, outside of extending prize ranges as was suggested in another thread, I think this is by far the most fair solution. It still doesn’t address season points for some people who were planning on putting up a bunch more points in the last hour, but I’m not sure there’s much they can do about that.
Edit: forgot about the people who were planning on starting the Thor pvp in that last hour. They’re not only out 5-600 season points (give or take) plus the 1-3 covers they could have won and progression rewards they missed, but now they aren’t even compensated since they weren’t in the event yet. Sure it’s hard to know who was going to join and who wasn’t, but these people surely got shafted the most.
Needs to be stickied up. Anyway, I’m not entirely happy. I ended in position 42 for Unholy Unlaw, and I was aiming for the yellow Hood cover which is the only one I need. I MOST assuredly would have made top 25 and get it. Now I have 4% of pulling a Hood cover and knowing my spiteful luck it will be either black or blue, if not two bullseyes.
Sweet compensation for those who played the event and barely put effort in it, or who simply could not have dreamed of placing into the top 100. Or for anyone who has already maxed Hood. For anyone else, sucks hard. As seems to be the case every single time, 2* to 3* players are the ones who get screwed the most.
The free TaT token is appreciated, I guess, since Deadpool’s event was no really affected by the outage at all.
I was actually on the other side of the coin … I only needed one blue and my alliance was quickly getting out of #100 but with server going down we finished #86 …
Cant you just give one top tier reward for people that tried ? (guy who ranked #50 get #25 prize … #25 get #10 and so on)
Btw I dont need any the hood cover just dont think the 2% pull is that fair …
I’m fine with these rewards, hopefully I can get a Gold I can use. Actually got #1 in Deadpool event so no compensation needed there, but finished #113 in Thor, which kinda sucks since I could’ve used the top 100 Hood cover (wasn’t likely to make it further anyway.)
Obviously they’re not going to do that since rewards are out and they’d have to do it manually probably. What makes it at least somewhat fair is that it still rewards people based on their actual standings as opposed to a flat reward/compensation which is balanced for the average player, so half (or probably more) are happy to have the extra token(s) while those who normally place higher are upset they have to rely on chance to get what they would have probably won.

While i appreciated the extra reward you are giving out, but this doesn’t apply to some people. I was one of those unlucky individual that wanted to finish Deadpool PVE event first then spend the last hour doing Thor event. According to what the post said, only people that have “enter” the PVP event get the token. Does that mean I am out of luck since i didn’t enter becausei was going to start AFTER the PVE event?
You know, I’d almost wish they had taken more time to give us the compensation so they could’ve come up with a better compensation scheme. But then they would be lynched by the haters for not acting quick enough. Rock and a hard place.
How would they compensate for that though? Do they just take the word of every single person that says “I swear I was GONNA get a high rank in the last hour!”? You know what would happen then.
