If you haven’t already seen, a little while ago, we shared a very detailed blog outlining the new Alliance versus Alliance game mode we are introducing in r348!
Alliance V Alliance forum post
Since we released the AvA blog we have made some changes to some of the features and details we had previously shared.
A big shout-out to the awesome folks who joined our first beta; who shared pages and pages of feedback and bug reports, which was part of the reason for these changes ![]()
Be sure to read the R348 patch notes for more information on any known issues or upcoming QOLs.
r348 Patch Notes
Resolve
-
If a character runs out of Resolve, we added the ability to still be able to assign defenders to Fronts by purchasing additional Resolve, but it will cost an increasing amount of Hero Points to do so
- This Resolve is not a permanent increase. If a character has 3 Resolve, then 3 more is purchased; at the beginning of the next Offensive, the Resolve will reset back to 3
Scoring
-
We added;
- At the beginning of the 3rd and final Mobilisation phase of an Offensive, the Alliance that has control of the 6-Star Objective is rewarded 100,000pts
-
We removed;
- We removed Offensive scoring, to put a greater focus on Engagements
-
We updated;
-
For the defending Alliance, instead of being rewarded points based on the remaining health of the combined total defenders, it is now based on damage dealt to the attacking Alliance
- 10 points per % of damage caused to the combined maximum health of all Heroes of the Team attacking their Objective
-
We increased the points rewarded for Fronts controlled
