Reward structure is same as old Villain lighning Rounds.
I’m sorry to everyone in the Mags rounds. I know I have a 141 Mags, but I’m building a new 3/3/3 mags in case my build is bad after the nerf, so if if you see me in the matchmaking, that’s why I’m still trying for first.
First time winning anything worthwhile in a LR (top 8). Tanking my ranking in the Double Shot tourny definitely paid off.
Bah, need to decide if I want to try for Doom this LR… I have a 4/4 that needs a top 8 finish in order to be done with him, but I haven’t been tanking so it might be a tough run. Then again, this is off hours due to work, so I’m probably going to go for it.
Personally, I think tanking in LR to get placement at DS would be better imho.
I have to use the stock IM since I still don’t have one. Winning DS is pretty much not an option.
Aww yeah, started my run with 40 minutes left and still managed to come out in 6th place. 5/5 doom, here I come!
That feeling when with less than a minute someone attacks you knocking you out of the Diabolical Token…
Then you open up the Heroic and get a Blue Doom.
True I have 5/5 Doom (and thus why I aimed for Token in Doom round) but still way better than I thought I was going to get.
Trying my hardest to tank as much as I can for the Hood LR at 10:00 tonight. I want those last 2 covers I need, and I just managed to win with a level 14 Juggernaut / 6 Yelena / 15 Loki.
Can someone tell me what the order is for the villains.
It’s traditionally been Hood, Doom, Loki, Magneto, Ragnarok. Some like to use the mnemonic “Mr. Hiddleston” to remember: MR HiDDLeston.
Here’s a handy chart of the usual start times (all times PST). They have occasionally started on Wednesday or a couple hours late, but this is the most common schedule:

I feel like there are fewer max villians running around tight now. Maybe its because a lot of the ppl who put points into rag quit and the mag nerfs have made ppl not care about him..hood is easy money if he doesn’t have others…Loki needs patches to be worth anything and patches is a joke in lr on def, and doom isn’t worth the ISO.
Got top 25 just ISO grinding whatever was the quickest target I saw regardless of points. Made about 8k ISO so that’s not bad at all.
Don’t worry xforce…daddy gonna bring you some nice ISO to inject into your bloodstream despite FCC regulation prohibiting it.
Yeah… About that… My Lv 60 5/3/1 Mags needs that purp token so I can see what all the excitement is about per-nerf. Couldn’t you sit the next mag round out since your future-respec mags can be done whenever regardless? I would really appreciate it

Cant finish in range of a Diabolical token, events conspire against you. You have died of dysentery.
Need another pvp event with Hood yellows as a reward, only way I am going to get those or buy them it seems.
I figure it’s not worth it to bracket for a single cover (since there’s no way I’d make it to the top 8 to get multiples) and deciding that I’m going to get something better with just getting a token.
When I first started farming LRs, I always went for tokens: they give you a good way to uniformly build your collection so that you aren’t starved for the rarest of covers later. I think I got maybe 3 hood yellows as I was farming LRs solely from tokens, so they’re pretty great if you need all the villain covers.
After stubbornly figuring I had better odds pulling a Loki from the Diabolical pack (needed him for the Simulation), I ended up buying tons of them so now I have basically a cover of every villain (but not any more than that). If I get the token I’m hoping to pull a Ragnarok since here’s currently at 3/1. Suffice to say, I had a lot of ‘unlucky’ pulls trying to get Loki.
Rango, your mags is 5/5/3, right? I think you should build another 5/3/5 just in case.
