All these boost, like some said, are boosted because they are Fan Favourite. This week should be a good week to jump up a couple scl in pve if you haven’t play SCL 10 yet.
mmmmmmHmmmmmmm. Love me some Polaris boost week. Nice of them to stagger the boosts of BRB and Grocket opposite of Kitty and Polaris. Two weeks of them all being boosted would have been awful for PvP though great for PvE.
I wonder if I should start the nerf Polaris thread now of just wait.
You don’t need to start a nerf thread but boy could I go without seeing the dozens of squealing Polaris fanboys creaming their internet pants every time she’s boosted. We get it, you guys use her for everything.
Funny. When was the last time you cleared SCL10 PvE without leaning on Okoye and iHulk for your placement? I will also infer you also spam Apocalypse/Okoye/Colossus (probably Okoye, lots have her at 550) with 5witch in PvP. But hey, yeah. Feel free to look down from your lofty white tower on the lowly 4* players for appreciating the tools they have available to them.
I think Peggy has the best stun. I remember all three of my invisible characters got stunned by her blue power. Spider-Gwen’s one pretty good. I think G4mora’s stun at 5 covers can target one random invisible character. As long as the stun can also target invisible characters, I think they have an edge over other character who can only stun target.
1* Widow: 9 Blue to stun the target for 5 turns and each ally for 1 turn
G4mora: 6 Blue to stun the target for 3 turns and one ally for 1 turn, create a purple attack or strike tile for each stunned enemy (eventually triggering the Deadliest Woman insta-kill)
Polaris: 7 blue to do a 4-turn stun (at 5 covers, 3 at 3 covers), create 4x friendly and 4x enemy strike tiles (which are obviously good with her other nonsense)
2099: 8 blue to stun a single target for 4 turns, then create a 4-turn cd that makes them take 75% additional damage* while the tile is on the board
*this seems to only work with match damage, it’s kind of a wonky power as best I can tell
I think you could make the case that 5* Iceman has a pretty great stun, but it’s so mechanically different it’s hard to put it on this list in my opinion.
4* Iceman’s stun is terrible if you compare him to…that other 4* stun. His costs one less blue and stuns for the same number of turns, but you can’t spam it. If you try to stun someone else while his tile is out, he just punches them. The other one can quickly, easily stunlock the whole team forever while dumping out a bunch of strikes. It’s not close.
