Week 22 Boosted List: Apocalypse (Classic), Kitty Pryde, Okoye, Wolverine (Old Man Logan)

This week is the battle of the meta week. Unfortunately, OML has been handed a loss automatically.

Okoye/iHulk
Apocalypse/BRB
Kitty/BRB

I don’t know who to use for defense: Okoye/iHulk, Wanda/Colossus or Polaris/BRB or Kitty/BRB.

For 4* players, we have:

Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), Juggernaut (Fear Itself), Medusa, Polaris, Wolverine (X-Force)

Polaris/BRB
Polaris/Medusa
Polaris/Juggernaut

All these boost, like some said, are boosted because they are Fan Favourite. This week should be a good week to jump up a couple scl in pve if you haven’t play SCL 10 yet.

This week is going to be murder.

Only the strong will survive. xD

Interesting how D3 keep putting the meta boosts in short weeks or events where they don’t get a full boost.

mmmmmmHmmmmmmm. Love me some Polaris boost week. Nice of them to stagger the boosts of BRB and Grocket opposite of Kitty and Polaris. Two weeks of them all being boosted would have been awful for PvP though great for PvE.

I wonder if I should start the nerf Polaris thread now of just wait.

Lol what even is this week

Stacking up all of them is probably good to get it out of the way at once, but it’s going to be hellish if you don’t have one of them fully maxed out.

We should count Polaris as a 5* when she’s boosted…I have 550 MMR and she appears in about 75% of teams during her boost week.

You don’t need to start a nerf thread but boy could I go without seeing the dozens of squealing Polaris fanboys creaming their internet pants every time she’s boosted. We get it, you guys use her for everything.

Funny. When was the last time you cleared SCL10 PvE without leaning on Okoye and iHulk for your placement? I will also infer you also spam Apocalypse/Okoye/Colossus (probably Okoye, lots have her at 550) with 5witch in PvP. But hey, yeah. Feel free to look down from your lofty white tower on the lowly 4* players for appreciating the tools they have available to them.

Now who would go and do a thing like that, Beef…?

I think you missed his point. He didn’t say not to use her.

Perhaps I misworded my response. I corrected it.

She’s like the best 4star though. Works with soo many special tile users and has probably the best stun in the game.

squeals

Surely G4mora has the best stun?

I think Peggy has the best stun. I remember all three of my invisible characters got stunned by her blue power. Spider-Gwen’s one pretty good. I think G4mora’s stun at 5 covers can target one random invisible character. As long as the stun can also target invisible characters, I think they have an edge over other character who can only stun target.

Close second, I’d say. The interaction with the other two powers is what bumps Polaris’s stun into first place IMO.

1* Widow has the best stun! Change my mind!

1* Widow: 9 Blue to stun the target for 5 turns and each ally for 1 turn

G4mora: 6 Blue to stun the target for 3 turns and one ally for 1 turn, create a purple attack or strike tile for each stunned enemy (eventually triggering the Deadliest Woman insta-kill)

Polaris: 7 blue to do a 4-turn stun (at 5 covers, 3 at 3 covers), create 4x friendly and 4x enemy strike tiles (which are obviously good with her other nonsense)

2099: 8 blue to stun a single target for 4 turns, then create a 4-turn cd that makes them take 75% additional damage* while the tile is on the board

*this seems to only work with match damage, it’s kind of a wonky power as best I can tell

4* Iceman - 6AP, 4 turn stun and chance to Punch for some nice damage!

I think you could make the case that 5* Iceman has a pretty great stun, but it’s so mechanically different it’s hard to put it on this list in my opinion.

Mantis?

4* Iceman’s stun is terrible if you compare him to…that other 4* stun. His costs one less blue and stuns for the same number of turns, but you can’t spam it. If you try to stun someone else while his tile is out, he just punches them. The other one can quickly, easily stunlock the whole team forever while dumping out a bunch of strikes. It’s not close.
