Mind the Trials
The Planeswalker Challenge have officially arrived, unlocked from the moment you complete Story Mode for the very first time. This isn’t a temporary skirmish; it’s a massive, permanent addition to your journey, designed to bridge the gap between rising challengers and true veterans. Test your skills across different mana colors to gather vital resources, rare cards, and currencies to power up your collection and prepare your deck for the ultimate tests that await in the Multiverse.
Steer the Currents of Mastery
Introducing a monumental gauntlet of content featuring 70 distinct levels for each individual mana color, plus an additional 70 levels dedicated entirely to the Multicolor node.
Daily Rhythm, Zero Friction
You can progress and conquer up to 3 levels per day. The twist? Your daily chances are only consumed when you secure a victory. If you lose, you keep your ticket, giving you total freedom to re-strategize, tweak your deck, and try again without penalties.
The Roster of Allies
Facing these trials requires additional help. The moment you unlock the mode, four Planeswalkers will immediately join your roster for free: Chandra, Roaring Flame; Gideon, Battle Forged; Jace, Telepath Unbound; Liliana, Defiant Necromancer.
If you already own any of these Planeswalkers, don’t worry! A gift will be sent to you when the patch rolls out.
Rare Cards and Exclusive Foils
The ultimate prize for true mastery. Conquering the highest levels of these challenges will award rare cards and exclusive Foil Cards that cannot be obtained anywhere else in the entire game.
How It Works
Access:
Jump straight into the action via the new dedicated buttons on your Home Screen or through the Story Mode Screen.
Daily Shift:
Each day of the week, specific mana colors will call you to battle. Be sure to check in daily to see which color is active and plan your next move.
Strict Alignment:
Single-color challenges restrict you to using a Planeswalker of that exact color.
The Multicolor Node:
All restrictions vanish. Use any planeswalkers to test your favorite strategies against unique enemy lineups.
Progression:
You can clear up to 3 levels per day. Your daily limits only count toward your victories, meaning you can keep playing and trying again until you secure your wins for the day.
And this is only the beginning! This initial launch is just the first step for the Planeswalker Challenge, and we plan to introduce even more levels, trials, and rewards over time to keep pushing your skills to new heights.

In fact, by completing your Daily Quests, you can claim one free pack every single day. In total, players will be able to get 23 packs for free, just by playing the game.

A Summer Storm

In this time-limited event, creatures are turned into treasure chests, taking your existing forces off the board. These chests then rupture open, replacing your army with entirely new, erratic creatures unleashed straight into the fray.
This shifting tide always pushes forward. Every new creature is guaranteed to be a higher tier, costing 1 mana more than the creature before it, steering the escalating chaos of the fight into your favor.
