I have only an average roster with one hero at lv.80 and another four heroes above lv 70, but I keep facing those really tough foes at lv160+, and occasionally lv200+. I know there is the level scaling thing so I would really appreciate some insights about how it works and if there is a way to lower the level of foes in pve events, otherwise it is just too hard to make progress in the game.
Its like all companies. They dont care about existing players, they just want the new ones to start spending. What better way than to give them 3* cards so that they need to buy roster slots and upgrades etc etc. Loyalty means nothing.
Just do the best you can. My colleague who doesn’t play MPQ asks me to uninstall the game as he always see me stressing out while playing MPQ instead of enjoying it
The way the event scaling works is partly by how many times you clear it and how many times everyone else clears it. If your unable to fight scaled ones, do a clear when it first starts. Past that, the levels pile on so good luck with that.
Strategy in this game exists outside of battles. Think of a battle<->war perspective. Every move can have an impact, even something seemingly trivial as initiating a battle.
On the simplest terms (as there are other factors):
Winning a battle = increase enemy levels
Losing a battle = decrease enemy levels
A simple strategy then is to 1) play less battles and 2) lose battles on purpose.
My first attempt to “ISO-8 Lab: Indonesia” and what? Group of 154lvl villains in first mission. My best character is **Black Widow lvl77. I never like lvl scaling in games, becouse it’s kills fun from progress. But in MPQ its not only stupid feature, but also broken feature. Lvl scaling sucks and sucks so unbelievable hard.
Nope, i fought hard for the first half, then when it switched to 5am finishes, i couldnt be bothered anymore so basically decided to not play as much and mostly lose.
This is truth. Really strong rosters can beat both PvP and PvE content. Really weak rosters can’t go deep in PvP, but now with scaling they totally own PvE and can accumulate MANY 3* covers as long as they don’t level their toons. Medium strength rosters can’t beat either PvP or PvE and are screwed.
Sadly it feels like real life. Rich get richer and poor get all the help, and the middle class screwed. don’t grind the missions down to 1 if they don’t offer high points unless its your last refresh before the sub ends to try for remaining rewards for that node. Seems silly playing less pays off more but thats the system. I do only 2 playthroughs per sub and its been good enough for 115k so far. Good luck.
Yeah I get that observation from me wife occassionaly - stupid Rags + Juggs are my new least fave opposition; make me use words like “firetruck” a lot…
Cute almost haiku, but useless advice. “Not placing high” doesn’t help mid level rosters who desperately need 3* rewards, since they only get them from high placements. You might as well tell them “just quit the game”.
