I fully expect he’s awful, but I’ve a soft spot for Victor Mancha if you’d kindly share his powers some time. 
I think he’s not great, but I haven’t had a chance to use him when boosted yet. Mine is lvl451, these stats are unboosted:

So 82K damage when you fire Blue/Black/Purple.
Put Tinkerer on Toad, Batons on 3A4 May, Realm on the 3rd (required) and you can fire Toads powers potentially 3x on turn 0 (if all 3 supports trigger) for 240+K per power. That should kill most teams on turn 0.

I’m sure there might be 1 or 2 out there, but I haven’t seen em, nor has anyone ever spoken up. Variants persons roster is still crazy, they had those 3s you mentioned at 550, but he definitely looks to have quit months back. What an insane investment to leave behind.

His roster is mainly “characters who were in a 2star release vault" for 550 ascended characters. He goes crazy on those.

He does only really work against enemies churning out special tiles then, and even then unremarkably, but I suppose 200% tile damage isn’t to be sniffed at with boosted 5-stars/6-stars.

I don’t really see where he has stopped playing exactly. He’s got some recently-ish released 550 4-5s and smaller- but still big - newer ones which kind of looks to me like he’s kept going.
I think his main avenue of pursuit is HP and shards from Heroics and things.
I still think he’s a bit sus but they say he was legit so I don’t worry much about it.
Anyway he’s a commander so you can’t tell exactly when he played last, but my gut says he still plays. Not sure if anyone has seen him in PvP etc.
And if I’m remembering correctly, there was fun to be had with him and Luna? Worth a try in some years when you have them both at 5, or ask Entrail to try it for ya 
They dont have any of the last 3 5 stars covered, or even rostered War. On top of that, the number of rostered characters hasn’t been moving. You used to be able to tell which characters they were focusing, if they are playing at all anymore, it appears to be minimal. Their alliance also looks to be dying.
Fortunately Bucket has closed the gap anyway, so he will have everything we might want to see.

It’s really, really hard for me to judge effectiveness for unboosted guys because I’m so used to only using the boosted ones.
I’m happy to give it a shot! But it’d probably have to be in PvE. I’m not sure if I can beat the best 550s in PvP with 450 combos, and that’s usually what I see.
Yeah, I dont think 450 Matcha wants to fight 550 Maynkie.
Do you ever see any rando teams, at all? Or do you not let yourself fall low enough in points? When I leave a weird ass chump team, they usually get beat down and open up a some non Maynkies.
Actually…. do you even play Sim, ever? Pick 2 options are always way more limited.
I do see those teams sometimes, but only once I’ve crossed a certain point threshold, and even then it takes work. It used to be that over 1000 or 1050 I’d get only 5 point fights, but lately it’s closer to 900. At that point everything is worth 5 or less, but I still get mostly high level “meta” 550s in that pool. One time the game started showing me 1-pointers, and those were random low level teams.
I hate Sim. It’s just a nightmare hellscape of the trolliest defensive troll teams, for basically no rewards. I think you can still use Leapfrog there! And without boosts, it’s just…boring, to me.
Yeah, Leapfrog is still allowed in Sim. I get it out of the way early for the progression rewards, then forget about it until next season.

You can still use leapfrog, but i never see anyone use it because everyone is running all out offense teams. It’s either frankie nova with aunt may and ihulk and green ap supports or mbaku with car namor with krakoa and chasm with tinkerer. Occasional purple ap boost 1a5 Hawkeye teams.

This is my experience also. I was quite surprised to see the reduction in Leapfrog, maybe people didnt notice it came back . Starting AP definitely the dominant ones for my ques, but with Frank or Hawk, it makes sense.

It’s because it’s sim. Sim is for farming. All the teams are supposed to be turn 1d by the other meta teams. It’s just getting 500 wins until the reward drop rate craters.
Using Leapfrog goes counter to that, so few use it. It’s also zero deterrent anyway.

I ascended Purple Man the other week and I’ve noticed that even though the text on black is fundamentally the same when a repeater tile is destroyed the other repeaters seem to all increase instead of decrease. Not sure if a bug or an intended effect. Did anyone notice this previously? It’s a weird change if deliberate.
