Dream Eater has two abilities, a Surveil ability and a bounce ability. Both these abilities use a dialogue popup which is headed “Move Card”, which causes confusion.
The system I mentioned in this thread (card effects: needed animations and superfluous animations - #16 by starfall - MtGPQ General Discussion - 505 Go! Official Forums) would solve this problem, as the Surveil ability would launch directly into the Surveil popup (as well as reducing unnecessary busywork on the part of the user).

Hi @starfall,
Thanks for reporting!
I’ll pass along to the team.
The issue has been reported by me directly after the set was released. Nice that it has been ignored so far, great to hear its been passed to the devs. Again.
Additionally (I’ll verify again) it causes even more confusion if you cast it with Enhanced Surveilance in play as you’re not sure which trigger you’re dismissing, and if you dismiss any you forfeit the ability to bounce a creature.
I would like to add that if you cast Dream Eater, choose your cards to Surveil, and then decline to return a creature to it’s controller’s hand, the Surveil effect does not trigger correctly. Please note that this is a separate bug @Oktagon_Daiane and similar to the new bug affecting Price of Fame.
Thank you @ZW2007-!
You can be sure we’ll check.
