Continuing the discussion from [CROSS POST] Points Multipliers on Heroic Nodes (PVE):
Sadly the game is still broken. I tried Heroic and it was ok but I prefer spending less time playing a round rather than more. Also once you start heroic in PVE it stays for the full 3 or 4 rounds which is contrary to allowing the player to reset at the start of the next round.
I appreciate the effort to mix things up but with constant asset downloads and freezes perhaps those should take priority.
Are you not able to choose heroic or regular for each node?
I joined the PvP about 6 hours ago. None of the nodes had a button to toggle Heroic or not- everything looked normal and I could run any team. I played a few matches.
About 2.5 hours later I logged back in and all the nodes are Heroic.
I’m sure this is not what they intend in several ways and it’s broken but this is what’s happening.

lol. I read “Heroic vs Game issues” and assumed they meant PvP which is called “versus”.
They meant picking Heroic to develop over fixing the game, I now realize.
All I know is I’ve had several disco incidents which have crashed the game for me when I have clicked the heroic button. I think I will take the hint and stay away from it.
Personally, I’d say Heroic roster restriction and gameplay drag are still manageable back before they revamp the A.I. level in PvE. Now, it’s really a huge time sink…
Yes and since the two are not separated the distance between the bigger players and others gets wider. In the last two events SCL 9 events I dropped ten spots as more SCL 10 players drop down. Seems they can do heroic in the same time as a normal player can do normal nodes.
At this point will rewards going down I will clearly not worry about the rewards and just play once and awhile rather than in every event.
This is great, and it’s what everybody should do! It’s a game. Competitive PvE stopped being fun for me many years ago, so I stopped doing it.
To rephrase that: you just told him to quit lol
He did and eventually that will happen. After all games do have a lifecycle for players

Never…I believe his message was ..just chill and play the game without being competitive. Sadly I am competitive by nature but also realize the game is go7ng through a change period. So stepping back and seeing how it plays out is also fine
I stopped competing in PvE because it wasn’t fun, but I still play PVP pretty hard because that’s still fun for me. I still play PvE too, but I do it off the clock, and I use it to try out new teams and combos. With a game like this, oftentimes you have to find your own fun – there are lots of ways to engage with MPQ.
If you’re still doing the stuff you’ve always done and it’s not enjoyable, do something different! Or just take a break and try to come back later. Or sure, quit forever! All of these options are preferable to playing a game that’s no longer fun for you.
