Much like any sequel, this one sucks. The original Hulk Event for those that remember was great. Every mission was doable, you actually got The Incredible Hulk as rewards for daily so you could actually make a Hulk. The missions scaled well, if one was too hard you could easily do some others and stay caught up, it was great. I don’t know how they managed to mess it up, but they did. Here are some suggestions.
Make PvE tournaments like the orginal Hulk event, Ares, or the Simulator, they had their issues too, but these were by far the best tourney’s
When you make a featured event, actually have the character as a progression or daily award like you did with the original hulk and Ares events, the packs suck, period, they suck
The subs gave hulk event tokens, which had a high chance of getting a hulk. Halfway through the event, we unlocked a mission for one free Hulk.

The progression rewards for the first Hulk event were Punisher covers. I remember because there was a huge brouhaha about only 70 people total getting the last Punisher cover in the first iteration of the event.
I am fine with this event. What I don’t like is that we have a single main instead of bracket. I had forgotten about it and this event reminded me again that there has been some progress in the game since then. I don’t really care for Thor or the progression covers so I won’t try hard, focusing mostly on the subs and the tokens.
You only got the freebie green cover the first time through, but you got it again and placed in the top 5000 tier the second time for a grand total of 1+1+1 green covers and 1 black? Then you mashed the two events together in your memory and forgot that they were two HULKs back to back?
Hm, I have a different opinion about that. With unbrackated, I don’t have to worry about “timing” a bracket or accidentally getting in a bracket with 10 people who are planning on crushing it. I find it more relaxing.
Yeah, instead of 10 people who are planning on crushing it, you get to share a bracket with everyone in the game planning on crushing it. I think a better argument would be that the awards seem much more generous in unbracketed
Should the title be Hulk Event 3 as they ran the first hulk event twice. So that would be 2 free Hulks instead of one. This also allowed 2 times the chances to use the Gamma Bomb tokens in the event. So a 3/0/1 was completely doable.
I’m actually just aiming for the progression rewards so I can finish my Punisher finally.
But in doing so… easily able to stay in the top 1000 most of the time. so I don’t mind that either
I just don’t want those Wolverines, I’ve finished him long ago! Don’t need anymore, I still have to finish leveling my Patch.
Both runs got me 1 green in the middle from a mission the unlocks once community fills the green bar. And 3 covers at the end. Resulting 2/1/1 then 4/2/2.
I’ve had the two star Hawkeye at max covers for a while now. I would never pull his token after that, in the last week I think I could have made another maxed cover Hawkeye with all of his covers I’ve pulled…I guess it’s better than pulling my 10,000th 1 star cover. And a least the ISO bump is a plus.
