Does anyone know why this saved team is unavailable to deploy? Obviously the question is down to “why does Hawkeye have a lock?”
I don’t know exactly why, but I have had this before. It lasted one PvE event. I could manually put the team members together but whenever I did the next node I tried to play would sub Hawkeye out for IM40. It was annoying to have to keep putting him back in that space, and ine time having to retreat because I didn’t spot it in time.
It was the case that the Hawkeye rostered was not my highest level one. I wondered if there was something trying (and failing) to automatically correct me to my strongest Hawkeye.

just speculating, maybe try to save a different hawkeye see if that fixes it. Wondering if you had done a merge with your HE the day before or so
I’ve had the same issue with 3* Thanos. I think it happened during his boost week.
I think something like that happened to me once before. If I remember correctly it was that I’d ascended the character & the saved team didn’t acknowledge it as being the same character anymore. Deleting & re-saving fixed it for me.
I can save my highest leveled Hawkeye to the team instead, and that team is available.

Usually happens when you try a dupe or the character is injured (in which case case healing fixes it). It’s related to the auto sub in bug. Been months.
TL;DR: don’t use your weak dupes.

Why wouldn’t I use my weak dupe? It’s what makes this team work.

Godzillafan67 were you playing Deadpool daily, or a normal PvE node at the time?
Because that information matters.
If you were playing “I’ve got a golden disc..et” it only allows 3 and 4* characters.
In your screen shot Hawkeye is an ascended 3 star.
When you saved the team, was he a 2* at the=at time, then ascended to a 3* later?
For example I can reproduce your picture in DPD pretty easily.
if it wasn’t either of those cases, it most often occurs when you have a dupe, as Daiches already pointed out.
Hawkeye was an already ascended 3* so that I could give him a support. I think it was the SCL10 CN node. I can load them in SHIELD Simulator right now with the supports intact, but I can’t test the CN node issue until PvE is back in session. Thanks for testing!
Same thing with my saved 4 star hawk and GR2099.
Locked out of The Tower and Puzzle Gauntlet (top row nodes). Oddly, they’re locked out of SHIELD Simulator now. So, I chalk this up to a weird, embedded bug.
Here is an update on this topic…
This team has not been locked out for quite some time. Furthermore, when the 1a3 Hawkeye ascended to 1a4, it continued to be a member of the saved team. This is different behavior than I had previously experienced, which is likely either I ascended differently this time or there has been a change in the code.

Depends on if the toon you started to ascend is the one in the saved team as well. Then it stays in the saved team. Been that way for as long as I can recall. If you ascend using a different version of the toon and add that saved team one in it doesn’t stay on the saved team.

Relatedly, it would be fantastic if we could have more saved teams slots since Heroic PVE exists now.
