Do note it’s a shortened season and hence the progression rewards are different.
I’m still considering sitting Predator and Prey out though, but I’ll definitely join the Scarlet Witch tournament.
I really thought I was going to have a chance at the 7500 progression reward for the Legendary Token. At 7 events and 1000+ needed in each one, I’m going to fall short. Still can’t consistently get over the 800 point hump.
I actually did the same thing a few months ago. I showed my tokens pulls which included a Red Blade and I got made fun of.. figured I would start a tradition
This season’s climb to 2000 is dog-eat-dog. I got to 1904 and shielded. I lined up a few 40 point matches and a 30 to get me safely over the line, and left it a while so anyone who had me queued could get their attacks over.
When I came to play the matches, my first victory was worth 5 points. My second was under 20. What the heck?!? Time to reshield and regroup.
Players who aren’t shielded aren’t lasting long up high, except someone with a monstrous Silver Surfer. Strangely, that player isn’t one of the 5-10 that keep repeating as targets in my nodes, even though he’s only 250 points above me.
:edit: 2000 achieved, with a few more ridiculously overstated points, 38 became 15, for example. Deities, I wish they would fix that…
