yep - haven’t had things come together this season yet. life has required early pushes and there just aren’t enough pts in the system at 18-24 hrs out for me to make it reasonably close, so been climbing to 800 and stopping. really hoping to get there on this one. my hope is everyone will be pushing to 1000 (like everyone did for carnage last season), but I thought that when px came up late last season and it didn’t work out so we’ll see. I’m going for it here too.

It is not the best timed of the three weekly tournaments but it does seem pretty active. I think enough points will be out there, but it might require some shield hopping to avoid being pulled back down near the 1k mark.

This PVP is absolutely horrifying. I don’t think I’ve ever gone through so many health packs. I can’t hit 500, much less 1K despite having a pretty solid roster. I had 10 health packs an hour ago. I’ve played maybe a half dozen matches and I have 1 left.

This game is dying for me quickly.

CMags, Falcon and Squirrel Girl are a fun team here. I was practically handing purple tiles to the AI so that I could use SG’s skill to do 9000+ damage at a time.

Just chiming in to say I encountered a highly boosted X-Force/CMags/Falcon team worth over 50 points so decided to give it a shot.

My mistake.

Talk about an infinity loop of powers leading into cascades leading into more powers! My poor team never stood a chance. CMags is devastating with Polarizing Force board shake-up, fueling Magnetized Projectiles, easily fueling both X-Force and Surgical Strike. All the while letting Falcon match yellow and throw out shield tiles. It was one of the quickest beat downs I have ever received from an AI and all I could think of is how I need more covers for Classic Magneto!

this pvp is brutal… hit 630, so decided to shield since i am leaving work soon.. hit shield, as soon as i clicked the button, screen popped up, i had been hit 3x for 91 points… ugh, that HB Red is looking out of reach.

yes, 7000 damage for 10 blue is crazy good. I’ve felt much freer to hit higher targets than normal. took on (and won it) my first fistbuster (166/220) this event. have another queued, but we’ll see - its 166/240.

Some very slow matches here, with the infinite Redwing loops. Also, I wish people wouldn’t retaliate immediately. Give me a minute to hit my progression, then bring the hammer down. Anyways, reached that 1K mark, staying unshielded for the rest of the event, so feel free to beat the crap out of me too.

EDIT: Finished streaming, had to shield hop(even though I don’t actually know how to shield hop) to get to the 1000 pt Hulkbuster. The fact that I pulled out 500 HP and 1,500 iso from my taco stash worked well for that.

Going for 1,300 hulkbuster next PVP is gonna be a nightmare…
